CARTER, (Flight) Maria Jane - Passed peacefully away August 30, 2009 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood at the age of 98. She was formerly of Buchans. Predeceased by husband, William Carter; son, Winston Carter; also daughters-in-law Florence and Shirley. FRANCIS, Kathleen Trixie (Snow) (Jan. 9, 1927 - Aug. 31, 2009) - It is with sadness that the families of the late Kathleen (Snow) Francis announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, aged 82 years. She is predeceased by her first husband, Norman Snow; Second husband, Wilson Francis; son, Danny; sister, Lucy Buckley; and stepmother, Jessie Chinn; and parents, Frank and Bessie Chinn.
