It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clara
Sharpe announce
her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing
on Saturday October 1, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn are her
ten sons: Charles Jr. (Matilda) of Stephenville Crossing; Patrick (Pauline)
of Stephenville Crossing; Bobby (Clara) of Stephenville; Cornelius (Delores)
of St. George's; James (Marlene) of Stephenville Crossing; Jackie of Ontario;
Reggie (Noreen) of New Brunswick; Garland (Sheila) of Nova Scotia; Lloyd of
Stephenville Crossing; Perry (Joyce) of Stephenville Crossing; five daughters:
Gertie (Con) Alexander of Stephenville; Greta Doucette of Stephenville; Sandra
(Wayne) Delaney of Stephenville; Dorothy (Isadore) Garnier of St. George's;
Margie (Patrick) Gabriel of St. George's; one brother Albert Duval of Stephenville.
Also left to mourn are a very large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren;
great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her
husband Charles Sharpe Sr., son Roderick and her brothers Joseph and John.
Visitation took place at Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Monday
October 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, October
4th at 2 p.m. at Assumption Parish in Stephenville Crossing, Father Gerard
Patry officiating with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street,
Stephenville Crossing

Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center in Grand
Falls-Windsor on Monday, June 21, 2010, Mrs. Caroline Beatrice Skinner, age
81 years, of Gaultois. Leaving to mourn her loving family: four daughters,
Jessie (Everett Rose) at Gaultois, Beatrice (Hiram Skinner) at Burgeo, Marie
(Wayne Baggs) at St. John's and Sandra (Brad Durnford) at Gaultois; three sons,
Douglas (Meta) at Gaultois, Clayton (Marjorie) at St. John's and Rodney (Glenda)
at Grand Falls-Windsor; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren;
three sisters, Gladys at North Sydney, Hilda (Charlie Warren) at Burgeo and
Pearl (Phillip Kearley) at Head of Bay D'Espoir plus a number of other relatives
and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Harold; one great grandson, Michael;
three brothers, Clayton, Benjamin and Thomas Skinner; and one sister, Jessie.Funeral
service will be held on Thursday, June 24, at 2:00 pm from St. Luke's Anglican
Church in Gaultois with Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Interment will follow
at the Anglican Cemetery in Gaultois. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the
care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
