Passed away on: 11/07/2010
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. Clare's Hospital on Sunday, July 11, 2010, John Fewer of Chapel's Cove in his 69th year. Predeceased by his wife Marie (July 8, 2006), his parents Christopher and Philomena, his brothers: Thomas, Martin, Patrick and Christopher. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Gladys (Doug Lake), Sandy (Fred Dinham), Neil, Pat (Martijn) Haye; his grandchildren: Rae Lynn Hawco, Jaclyn Fewer, Robert (Danieka) and Victoria Dinham, DJ, Brian (Robyn), Brad and Melissa Lake; two great-grandchildren Maddison and Carter; his sisters: Mena Fewer, Mary (Kevin) Woodford, Anna Marie Buckle; sister-in-law Mary Clements; also a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010 with Mass of Christian Burial from SS. Peter and Paul Church, Hr. Main. Interment will be in the R.C. Cemetery, Chapel's Cove. Please visit www.dunphys.ca to sign the memorial guest book or to send a message of condolence.

HYNES-MERRILL, Rita Marie
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rita Marie Hynes-Merrill announce her peaceful passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Dora Chapman and grandson, Cody, Mazie Midyette, Wilma Hynes and six sons: Jimmy (Bertha), Leo (Ellen), Burtrum (Lucy), Jerome and daughter, Carman, Leroy (Gesiel) and daughters, Tammy, Chantelle and Lenny, grandchildren: Donny, Vanessa, Deno, Sherry, Jordan, Daryle, Marlene, Lisa, Sharon, Carman, Tammy, Amanda and Debbie and a large circle of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Ellen March, husbands Wilbert Hynes and Percy Merrill, brothers Earl, Lawrence, John and sisters Bertina and Delsie. Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maria Regina parish, Port au Port East with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. Funeral arrangements were under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville, NL
