DICKS, William Roderick (Rod)

Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L. A. Miller Center,
on January 12th, 2005, after a long battle
with cancer, William Roderick Dicks, at the age of 53.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife Edwina (Hanlon); three daughters Leigh
Ann Bunting (Damon) Jennifer Hanlon and Kerrylynn Dicks; grandchildren
Joshua William Hanlon and Asher Jude Bunting; parents Bertram and Alma
Dicks; four sisters Marlane Marshall (Russ), Sandra Eustace (Elton),
Anne Gould (Gary) and Shelley Sayles; six brothers: Gerry, Barry (Cathy),
Robin (Barbara), Brad (Marie) Bert (Christine) and Bob (Debbie); father
and mother-in-law Brian and Agnes Hanlon; the Healey and Hanlon families;
and a large circle of other family and friends. Cremation has taken place

PARSONS, Shirley Marie
It is with sad hearts that we announce
the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Shirley
Parsons,
of Sherwood Park and formerly of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland on February
23, 2005. Shirley is lovingly remembered by daughters: Donetta
(Paul) Manning and Helen (Cyril) Ryan; sons: Donald (Stephanie), Leonard
(Phyllis) and Llewellyn (Arlene); ten treasured grandchildren; sisters:
Doris Nicosia and Helen (Gordon) Bignell; brothers: Ernest (Jackie) Newhook
and Robert (Phyllis) Newhook; two sisters-in-law: Dora (Harry) Boland
and Olive (Ralph) Yetman; as well as many relatives and special friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Robert Turner,
Dr. Steve Follett, the staff of the Day Care Unit and Units 30 and 31
of the Cross Cancer Institute for the care and love extended to Shirley
these past five years. A Memorial Service will be held at Sherwood Park-Millwoods
Chapel on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Shirley will be laid
to rest next to her loving husband, Eric, later this year in Indian Bay,
Newfoundland. Friends, who so wish, may make memorial donations directly
