Ryan, Shirley (nee Spencer) (with picture)
June 12th, 1937 - Jan. 24th, 2011
Shirley was the eldest of a large close knit family, and she was happiest surrounded
by children. She never hesitated to help others and was content with whatever
she had. By Nature, Shirley always showed kindness and respect to everyone. Lent
to us for 73 years, she was truly evidence that angels are among us on earth.
Shirley leaves behind her husband, "Richard" (Austin),
children; Sharron, Garfield, Sandra (Edgar), grandchildren Jennifer, Kristine,
Matthew, Ian, Brittany, Jordan, Gabriel; great-grandson Malcolm; sisters;
Mildred, Doris; brothers; Willis, Wade, and baby Cecil. Shirley was followed
to heaven by her sister Effie on January 29th, 2011. Thank you to the doctors
and nursing staff at Health Sciences Hospital, and the staff at Glenbrook
Lodge. Special thanks to resident Dr. Yung at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital
for his constant kindness and dedication, and to the Salvation Army whom
Shirley had the utmost respect for.
"Bye for now, my Darling"
