Tony passed away suddenly in Bay Roberts on January 31st, 2006. Born in St. John's, NL, raised in Coley's Point, he was the son of Verna and the late Ted Bowering. He leaves behind his wife, Verna J. Bowering and children; Krista (fiancé Neil Kennelly), and Glenn (Amanda Oates). His five brothers, Kevin (Debbie), Derek (Shirley), Ted (Debbie), Melvin (Joan), Jerry (Aleatha) and sister Bonnie Martin. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom her loved dearly. After he retired from teaching he devoted his time to the Old Mill Lanes Bowling Alley. He and his wife Verna travelled all over the world and made many friends along the way, but he loved Newfoundland, its music and its history. Tony lived life to the fullest. He is now gone from our home, but not from our hearts.
