Colbourne, Max
Died January 20th, 1996 in Toronto, age 47, originally from St. Anthony; son of the late Arthur and Mildred Colbourne. Left to mourn wife Anita, daughter Julian and son Mark. Survived by 3 sisters - Mae, Martha and Ida. Funeral service took place in Toronto.

Cooper, Fred (with picture)
Of Twillingate, Nfld. Passed away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, on September 29th, 1996, age 61. Left to mourn are his wife Hilda, mother Alice Cooper; 3 daughters Violet Wheeler (Eric), Linda and Michelle; 5 grandchildren; Crystal, Paige, Brock, Carly and Joshua; 3 sisters; Violet Young (Cecil), Maggie Taylor, Rose Young; 3 brothers; Edward (Ned) Bulgin, USA, Cyril Froude, Grand Falls-Windsor, and Victor Froude, Toronto, many nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of friends.

Harvey, Wanda Eva (nee Martin)
Passed peacefully away on Thursday, August 8th, 1996 at the Providence Centre, Scarborough, Ontario in her 58th year, after a lengthy illness. Left to mourn are her loving daughter Una, and grandson Russo; brothers Carl and Cecil; sisters Una, Ina, and Mabel, and many nieces and nephews. Friends were received and a service was held at Griffin Mack Chapel Ltd. on Danforth Avenue, Scarborough.

Ryan, Walter Bramwell
80, of Ward Road, Kingston, died September 16th, 1996 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Botwood, Nfld he was the son of the late Rhoda May. He was a member of Harmony #52 Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife Selina Spurrell; daughter May O'Neill and husband Gerald, Ward Road East; sons Clarence, Tremont, Hayward, Montreal and Robert and wife Alexandra, Montreal; sister Laura S. Maglis, Edson, Alberta; two grandchildren Martin and Jonathan; two great-grandchildren Julia and Christopher. He was predeceased by five brothers. Visiting at the Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral Service took place at Aylesford United Church by Rev. Wayne Schurman officiating. Burial in Aylesford United Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Aylesford United Church or Harmony Masonic Lodge #52.

St. Croix, Charles E. (with picture)
74, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, formerly of St. Mary's Bay, Nfld, died September 2nd, 1996, at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Clotilda (Dawn) St. Croix, a son Edward C. St. Croix of Minnesota; five daughters, Dianne M. Reynolds of Swampscott, Clair M. Hass of Abington, Joan M. Manning of Weymouth, Helen A. Campbell of Florida and Kathleen T. Binvie of Rockland; four brothers; Ralph of Weymouth and Patrick, Gordon and Edgar, all of Nfld; six sisters; Elizabeth D'Angelis of Boston, Phyllis Yeo of Billerica, Theresa Tobin and Marie White, both of Nfld, and Eda Dunphy and Genevive Lloyd, both of Toronto; 10 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Missed by nephew Frank White, Toronto, Ontario. Funeral Mass was held in Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth, Mass.

Stuckless, Carrie
Bishop's Falls, Nfld. Deepest sympathy to the family of the late Carrie Stuckless, who passed away suddenly Thursday, February 22nd, 1996. To her husband Garland, daughters Marion, Viola, Cynthia and Peggy; and sons Terry and Rob. May you know that our prayer are with you during your time of great sorrow, and may you find some comfort in knowing she will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.

Tarrant, Gerald
Passed away Sept 9th, 1996, at Fogo, Newfoundland. He was 65 years old. Left to mourn are wife Lorraine, sons Claude (wife Tammy) of Twillingate, Scott (wife Maureen) of Stewart, British Columbia, Sterling of Fogo and David (wife Cheryl) of Stewart, British Columbia; daughters Mereada (husband Grant) of Calgary, Alberta, Julie (husband Andy) of Strathmore, Alberta, Caville of Twillingate, and Melanie of Holden, Alberta; sisters Elizabeth, Pearl and Hanna; brothers Joseph, Lindsay, Stanley and Roderick; 13 grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Harold Kenyan conducted funeral services at the United Church, Fogo, Nfld. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery, Fogo, Nfld. Funeral arrangements were by Garry Keats of Fogo Island Funeral Home.
