A wonderful young man lost his battle with leukemia in February His life was still just beginning. In memory of Chris, I ask all Downhome readers to register with the International Bone Marrow Registry. Please help me keep the flame of hope going for other parents who have children living with cancer. With Love and Hope, Uncle Ken

Robinson, Ron
January 18th, 1915 - May 30th, 2000

Ron Robinson was born in Bay de Verde, Newfoundland, As a young boy, he moved with his family to Seal Cove and after his mother remarried, to Little Bay Islands. Ron lived and worked in Deer Lake and for several years at the Stephenville Air Force Base. He moved to Ontario just before Confederation. In December 1967, her married his second wife, Dorothy, with whom he spent many memorable summers in Newfoundland and winters in Florida. Ron will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife, Dorothy.
