On Sept. 9th, 1941, at the Church of St. Thomas Aquinas, Montreal, by Rev. E. F. Penney, Mercedes Frances O'Keefe, daughter of Mr. Louise & the late Lawrence O'Keefe, to Harold Maxwell Badcock, son of Mrs. & the late George H. Badcock: both of this city.

Beauchamp---Andrews
At St. Peter's Church, Twillingate, on Sept. 9th, 1941, by the Rev. T.F. Honeygold, Mamie Blanche Beauchamp, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Beauchamp, Port aux Basques, to Rev. George Maxwell Andrews, Rector of Trinity Parish.

Bishop---Goobie
At St. Mark's Church, by Rev. R. Farwell on Sept. 27th, 1941, Barbara Elizabeth Goobie, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. W. P. Goobie, to Neil Davis Bishop, son of Mr. & Mrs. S.J. Bishop.

Delaney---Greene
The marriage of Mary Ursula, only daughter of Mrs. & the late Charles P. Delaney, of this city, to Thomas Gerard Greene, son of Mrs. & the late Edward Greene, of Placentia, will take place at the Oratory of the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy on Sept., 29th, 1941.

Head---Chapman
On Monday, Sept 22nd,1941, Malinda Head, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Amos Head, Musgrave Harbour, to Rifleman Arthur E. Chapman of the Canadian Forces, son of Mr. & Mrs. Richard Chapman, Norwick, Norfolk, England.

Hiscock---Francis
At St. Ann's Church, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, was the scene of the wedding during the past week of Mary Hiscock, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Hiscock, Belleoram, Newfoundland, & John Francis, son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Francis, Sydney. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Thelma, while the groom was supported by his brother Charles. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents. Mr. & Mrs. Francis will reside in Sydney.-----Paper dated Sept 15, 1941.

Leythe---Burt
St. Matthews Wesley Church, North Sydney, Nova Scotia, was the scene of the wedding during the past week of Edythe Leythe, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Walter Leythe, Nova Scotia, & Joseph Burt, son of Mr. & Mrs. Frederick Burt, Rose Blanche, Newfoundland, The bride was attended by her sister Mildred, while the groom was supported by his brother Andrew. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. & Mrs. Burt will reside in Nova Scotia.--(Paper dated Sept 15, 1941)---(Also----Letthe---Burt, was listed at top of announcement--but in the announcement--Leythe).

Murphy---Yetman
On Sept. 14th, 1941, at St. Joseph's Presbytery by the Rev. Fr. Ryan, Olive Irene Yetman, eldest daughter of Azariah & Amelia Yetman, to Gordon A. Murphy, third eldest son of Mary & Jeremiah Murphy; both of the city.

Parsons---MacNeil
A wedding of interest to a large circle of friends in Burego, Newfoundland, was solomalzed at Sacred Heart Church, Sydney, Nova Scotia, during the past week of Marie Parsons, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Horace Parsons, Burgeo, and Thomas MacNeil, son of Mr. & Mrs. George MacNeil, Sydney. The bride was attended by her cousin Miss Nellie Penny, while the groom was supported by his brother, Wilfred. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the grooms parents. Mr. & Mrs. MacNeil will reside in Sydney.--(Paper dated Sept 15, 1941)

Totterdell---Stirling
On Sept. 15th, 1941, at All Saint's Cathedral, Halifax, Nova Scotia, by the Rev. Dean Whalley, Marjorie Totterdell of Lancashire, England, to Second Lieutenant A. Bruce Stirling, R.C.A., of this city.
