- Passed away at Montreal on November 19th, 1961, Helen Vokey, beloved wife of Isaac Jewer and dearest sister of Mrs. Any Woods. Funeral Wednesday at Verdun Que., to Mount Royal Cemetery.

Spaniard's Bay -
Helen Jewer
- News was received here on Sunday of the passing of Helen, wife of Isaac Jewer. She entered into rest on Sunday morning following an illness of several months.
Helen was the daughter of the late William and Selina Vokey who lived at Shearstown near the highroad, and after her father's death about twelve years ago, she and her husband went to live at Verdun, Quebec.
Mrs. A. H. Wood, formerly of Bay Roberts, but now of Verdun, is a sister, and there are several cousins in Spaniard's Bay.
Her funeral will take place on Wednesday of this week from her late residence, 935 Moffatt Avenue, Verdun, P.Q.
