Mrs. Elizabeth Butt, died yesterday afternoon at her son's home in Spaniard's Bay. Had she lived, she would have been 101 years old in three months time.
She had been in failing health for the past two years, but before that time was able to enjoy listening to the radio and was well informed in current affairs.
Four generations are left to mourn her passing: her son John, and daughter, Mrs. Douglas Smith (only two remaining of her eight children), ten grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. |
