Harbour Grace -
Pye - Cumby Wedding
A pretty wedding took place at St. Paul's Church, Harbour Grace, October 22 when Rosalind Gail, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chesley Cumby was united in marriage to Chesley James Pye, Rev. L. A. Ludlow officiated.
The bride entered the church on the arm of her father as organist F. P. Sheppard played the Bridal Chorus.
She was gowned in a floor length dress of white satin with overdress of tulle. Her finger tip veil was held in place with a tiara of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of red and white roses and ?????

William James Murrin - Passed peacefully away at Carbonear Hospital at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 1, W. J. Murrin of Spaniard's Bay, in his 75th year. Leaving to mourn three sons, Lawrence, Raymond, of Spaniard's Bay, Fred of St. John's; one daughter, Mary (Mrs. A. Vokey) of St. John's; one sister, Fannie (Mrs. George Drover) of Spaniard's Bay; also eleven grandchildren. Funeral from his late residence, Spaniard's Bay, at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, to Holy Redeemer Anglican Church. Interment at Anglican Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay.
