CROCKER, Henley A. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, September 16, 2010, Henley A. Crocker of Harbour Grace, age 86 years. Dedicated member of the Aliant Pioneers. Predeceased by parents: Charles and Lilly; brother: William. Left to mourn, wife: Lillian; two sons: Charles (Laura), Cambridge, ON and Kenneth (Barb), Harbour Grace; four grandchildren: Haley, Lindsay, Michael and Neal; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Shirley Noseworthy conducted the funeral service on Monday, September 20 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. EARLE, Angela - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital after a courageous battle of cancer with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, Angela Earle of Carbonear. Mrs. Earle was 51 years old. Predeceased by father: Mike Traverse; nephew: Ronnie Johnson; parents-in-law: George and Florence Earle and brother-in-law: Wayne Earle. She leaves to mourn her loving family: husband: David Earle; children: Abigail Earle, David (Jennifer) Earle and Darlene Earle (Carlton; grandchildren: Sarah, Patrick, Carly, Owen and Tyler; mother: Bridget (Rose) Traverse; sisters: Marg (Ronald) Johnson, Joan (Brendon) Milley, Jean (Cecil) Buckler, Aggie (Edward) Doyle, Tiny (Royden) King and Bernice (Dennis) Sellars; brothers: Michael (Bonnie) Traverse, Bob (Michelle) Traverse and Dennis Traverse (Cathy); sister-in-law: Cynthia Earle (Francis); brothers-in-law: Rick Earle (Lynn) and Pete (Gladys) Earle and dear friends: Ellen Janes, Cheryl Rowe and Girl guide Friends. The funeral mass took place at the St. Patrick's R.C. Church and Cemetery, Carbonear, on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. The family received relatives and friends at Slade's Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Angela Earle Memorial Fund. PELLEY, Sophie M. - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, Sophie M. Pelley of St. John's; formerly of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Gertrude; brothers: Arthur, Silas, Wilbert 'Bill', Malcolm, Frank and sister: Rose Joseph. Left to mourn, one brother: Edward Pelley, Carbonear; three sisters: Florence 'Floss' Butt Kitchener, ON, Annie (Clifford) Garland and Jean Clarke, both of Carbonear; sister-in-law: Grace Pelley, Corner Brook; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mr. Ben Welshman conducted the Funeral service on Saturday, September 4 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment was in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Carbonear. SINGLETON, ROBERT W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, Robert W. Singleton of Coley's Point, age 80 years. Predeceased by: infant daughter; brother Ronald, mother Gwen, grandfather Richard, special grandmother Adelaide; special sisters and brother Fronie (Val), Mae (Bill), Marcy (Alf) and William; brother-in-law Tom. Leaving to mourn is loving family wife: Mary; six children: Florence (Tom), Phillip, Gwen (Wayne), Linda (Max), Bonita and Mary-Lou (Wade); 11 grandchildren: Melissa (Sean), Justin, Laura (Patrick), Amanda (Adam), Bobby, Katie, Trudy (Joe), Thomas (Laura), Jason, McKayla and Liam; two great-grandchildren: Alexis and Conor; sister-in-law: Eunice; Caregivers: Peggy and Joyce, Mary (Toronto); special nieces, nephews and cousins. Rested at Slades Funeral Home, Bay Roberts from where the funeral service was held Saturday October 2 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts. Internment followed at the Salvation Army Citadel Cemetery, Clarke's Beach. In liew of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery. SNOW, Marion P. (Dawe) - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, September 2, 2010, Mrs. Marion P. (Dawe) Snow, aged 79 years, of Makinsons. Predeceased by her parents: Robert and Fannie Dawe; husbands: John Dawe and Arthur Snow; baby son: John; brothers: George (Jessie) Dawe, Stanley (Marcella and Myrtle) Dawe, William (Valetta) Baggs; sisters: Jamima (Cecil) Badcock, Annie (Jack) Crane, Fannie (James) Deering, Katherine (Allan) Parsons, Alice (John) Bendell; son-in-law: Tom Morgan; brothers-in-law: Arch Bradbury and James (Elizabeth) Mercer. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Louise (Aubrey) Morgan and Christine (Todd) Morgan; one sister: Eva Bradbury; five grandchildren: Aubrey (Amanda), Goldie (Corey), T.J., Renee (Chris) and Kendra; five great-grandchildren: Sara, Faith, Logan, Katie and Kearsten; brothers-in-law: Arthur (Edith) Dawe and William (Mary) Dawe and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Joseph Burton conducted the funeral service at Grace United Church, Coley's Point on Monday, September 6, 2010. Interment was at Grace United Cemetery, Coley's Point. WOODFINE, Andrew - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Monday, September 20, 2010, Andrew Woodfine of Northern Bay, age 88 years. Predeceased by daughter: Bernadine; brothers: Alex and Patrick; sisters: Maggie, Josephine, Marcella and Angela. Left to mourn, wife: Josephine; three daughters: Joann Woodfine (Jerry Murray), St. John's, Patricia Woodfine (Gerard Short), Kingston and Margaret (Stephen) Delaney, Mount Pearl; two sons: Felix (Bonnie), BC and Ronald (Peggy), Torbay; 12 grandchildren: Sonya (Derm), Stephanie (Tony), Shannon (Tonya), David (Sarah), Colleen (Desmond), Jodie-Lynn (Jason), Virginia, William (Brandi, Jeramey (Holly), Christopher, Nicole (Justin) and Jordan; 10 great-grandchildren: Cameron, Adrianna, Austin, Mekayla, Andrew, Scott, Logan, Caleb, Belinda Rose and Benjamin; son-in-law: Austin Power, Flatrock; also a large number of other relatives and friends. WRICE, Edward J. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, September 5, 2010, Edward J. Wrice of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by wife: Hazel; daughter: Joanne; sons: Rodrick, John and Edward; brothers: Leo and Lawrence; sister: Mary. Left to mourn, five daughters: Theresa (Harold) Peddle, Harbour Grace, Rosemary Wrice, Carbonear, Madonna Wrice, Spaniard's Bay, Cynthia Kaloo, Guelph, ON and Debbie (Stanley) Conway, Carbonear; two sons: Jerome (Rowena) and Wallace (Mary), both of Carbonear; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one brother: William, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Fr. F.J. Aylward conducted the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 8 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment was in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
