Predeceased by parents: Arthur and Johanna; step-daughter: Marie Lockyer; brothers: Reginald and Stephen; sisters: Hilda May and Lilly Wood. Left to mourn, wife: Fronie D.; three step-daughters: Major Gladys (Clyde) Osmond, Orillia, ON, Peggy (Robert) Companion, Beaver Bank, NS and Christine (John) Lilly, Harbour Grace; one step-son: George (June) Brace, Little Harbour East; one step-son-in-law: Wayne Lockyer, Moncton, NB; eight step-grandchildren: Lynette (Stephen), Bradley (Christine), Nicole (John), Melissa, Jonathan (Stacy), Krista (Matthew), Danny and Amanda; step-great-grand-children: Samantha, Shianne and Shayla; special step-great-grandson: Cameron; one brother: Arthur (Catherine) Bennett, Tatamagouche, NS; three sisters: Edna Gallant, Halifax, NS, Mary Barrett, Terra Nova and Margaret Bennett, Placentia; brother-in-law: Fred Wood, Kentville, NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Arch Young conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, September 10 at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Inurnment took place on Friday, September 12 at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in his memory may be made to Daffodil Place or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Predeceased by husband: Michael Farrell; daughter: Anne Marie Farrell; sister: Bridget Martin; brothers: William and Bernard Kearney; son-in-law: Robert Penney and parents: Patrick and Molly Kearney. She leaves to mourn her loving family, children: Linda (Ron) Gallant, Carbonear, Colleen (Bern) McDonald, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Madonna (Randy) Crane, Mount Pearl, Mike (Janice) Farrell, Carbonear, Philip Farrell, Carbonear; brothers and sisters: James (Margaret) Kearney, Portugal Cove, Helen Hayes, Grand Falls, Robert Kearney, St. John's, Frances Dwyer, Harbour Grace, Ethel (John) Murray, Harbour Grace; grandchildren: Colleen, Melanie, Brian, Amanda, Melissa, Tiffany, Leah, Jennifer, Justin, Sheldon, Stephen, Brittany, Bradley, Adam, David, Alicia; great-grandchildren: Rhea, Dylon and Dakota; and a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Frederick and Winnifred Snow; step-mother: Emily Snow; brother: George and sister: Anna.
