Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 24, 2016, Samuel Budden of Salmon Cove, formerly of Perry's Cove, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents: Stephen and Sarah Jane; five brothers and three sisters. Left to mourn, brother: Wallace (Audrey, deceased) Budden, Salmon Cove; sister: Pearl (Bruce) Mouland, St. John's; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the Funeral Service on Thursday, October 27 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear Long-Term Care Facility on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, June Hunt of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Raymond. Left to mourn, two daughters: Kristina (Terry) Rhoades and Michelle (Sean) Finn, both of Edmonton, AB; two grandchildren: Chelsea and Kaegan; four brothers: Carl (Wendy, deceased) Stevenson, St. John's, Rod (Barbara-Jane) Stevenson, Chance Harbour, NS, Bob (Gil) Stevenson, Sussex, NB and Paul (Brenda) Stevenson, Harbour Grace; one sister: Sandra (Pat, deceased) Murphy, Sussex, NB; brother-in-law: Lonce (Agnes) Hunt, Harbour Grace; sister-in-law: Marie Hunt, Harbour Grace; dear niece: Doreen (Rich) Quinn, Harbour Grace; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family received relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Nancy Mojica-Fisher conducted the Funeral Service on Saturday, October 29 at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment followed in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre with his family by his side on October 6, 2016 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Barbara-Ann Sheppard (nee McClellan). Beloved father of Karen Sheppard, Wendy Horas (nee Sheppard), Tammy Gatti (nee Sheppard), Margaret-Ann Sheppard. Proud grandfather of Jessica Woodcock, Samantha Whiteside, Sydney Horas, Jacob Sheppard, Mitchell Horas, Kayla Gatti, Jesse Scott, Brandon Gatti, Allison Gatti. Great-grandfather of Braydon and Neveah. Brother of Ethel and Daisy predeceased by Dorothy, Emma, Walter and Fred. Son of the late Reuben and Francis. The family would like to thank Southlake Hospital for everything. A veterans service will be held at the Aurora Legion, 105 Industrial Pkwy N, Aurora on October 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service.
