Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, October 16, 2015, Helen G. Hearn of Riverhead, Hr. Grace, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: Richard and Alice Reynolds, brother: Joseph, sisters: Elizabeth Morgan, Marguerite Butt and Sheila Short. Left to mourn, husband: Vincent; two daughters: Helena (David) Sheppard and Betty Ann (Max) Short, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; two sons: Vincent (Diane) and Phil (Lily), both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; ten grandchildren: David (Angie), Kayla, Hannah, Maxine (Bill), Maxwell, Vincent III, Rebecca, Cameron, Colin and Ashley; two great-grandchildren: Billy and Katie; sister: Marie (Phil Sheppard), Mount Pearl; special friend and niece: Linda Whelan, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Fr. Clem Flaherty conducted the Funeral Mass on Monday, October 19 from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 31, 2015, Jeanette Hudson of Adams Cove, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: Clayton and Laura Diamond; brother: Edmund; infant sister: Marilyn; brother-in-law: Lewis Hudson. Left to mourn, her loving husband of 60 years: Warren; one daughter: Christine (Steve) Beauchamp, Brookside, NS; one son: Robert (Sheena), Adams Cove; "adopted" daughter: Gloria Delaney, Jobs Cove; two grandchildren: Nikki and Marc; one brother: Kevin (Jean) Diamond, Kelligrews; one sister: Lorraine (Norman) Ryan, St. John's; sisters-in-law: Cora Diamond, Adams Cove and Marina Hudson, Adams Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Passed away suddenly at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 2, 2015 in his 69th year. Beloved spouse of Elizabeth Richards. Cherished father of Keith Morgan and Mike Morgan and his wife Robin both of Trenton. Dear Papa of Bruce, Melanie, Daniel, Christy, Kimberley, Tiffany, Brandon, Nicole and great grandpapa of Travis, Hope, Emma, Brooklyn, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Kaydence, Connor, Gracelyn and Laila. Will be remembered by his siblings Eldridge (Rose), Rita, Shirley (Len), Mary (Wayne) and Marion (Marcel). Loved by his many nieces and nephews. Eric will always be fondly remembered by Keith and Mike's mom Barbara. Predeceased by his brother Stan (surviving Maxine). Herbert Graham Priddle, 88, of Tallahassee and formerly of Sebring, FL went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Oct. 9th, 2015. He passed on peacefully surrounded by loving family.
He was born November 11th, 1926 in Victoria, Newfoundland, Canada and became a citizen of the USA in 1947. He married in 1948 his beloved wife Edythe. They resided in Washington, Pa. for 28 years where they raised four children. Herbert was a member of Iron Worker Local Union #3, Pittsburgh, Pa. until 1980 when they moved to Sebring Florida. Both were members of Sebring Christian Church where Herb served as a deacon. He had a strong faith and enjoyed Bible studies, golfing, gardening, and baseball.
Survivors include sons Jeffrey and his wife Rebecca of Tallahassee, Bradley of Tampa, daughter Jill of Palm Beach Gardens; brothers Harold Priddle and Dave Vaters, sisters Florence Clarke and Ruth Witcher, all residing in Newfoundland, Canada; and five grandsons, Jason, Jordan, Daniel, Curtis and Carter.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edythe, brother Lionel, and daughter Amy Miles. He was loved by friends and family near and far and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service was held by family and friends in Tallahassee. Interment will be held at Horn Cemetery, Marianna, Pa. at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Sebring Christian Church, 4514 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33872 or a charity of your choice.
