Passed on: October 9th, 2012

Passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2012 at the QE II HSC, Halifax. Cecily was born in Freshwater, Carbonear, NF, and leaves to mourn her loving, caring husband of 57 years, Alexander, son, Paul Bishop (Venus), daughter Kellie Grant (Sheldon), grandchildren Brandon, David, Emily, Nicolas; sister, Daphne (Bruce) Abbott; brother John (Ruby) Butt; numerous nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and in Newfoundland. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 6, 2012, Arthur W. Earle of Carbonear, age 82 years. Predeceased by wife: Hazel; sons: William and Kevin; parents: Albert and Jessie; brothers: Clarence, John and Jim; sister: Annie Mutrey; son-in-law: Arthur Osmond. Left to mourn, two daughters: Violet (Jerry) Foley and Elizabeth Earle, both of Carbonear; two sons: Cephas (Joan) and Eric (Kathy), both of Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Marion Earle, Carbonear; eight grandchildren: Chris, Melissa (Herbie), Chad, Samantha (Billy), Tiffany, Paul, Amanda and Nicholas; one great-granddaughter: Emily; three sisters: Stella (Nelson) Taylor, Bristol's Hope, Dorothy (Patty) Butler and Violet Thomey, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. Capt. Darin and Major Wendy Boone conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, October 9 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Mr. Richard (Dick) Marshall
of Carbonear who passed away at his home in Carbonear on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Mr. Marshall was 88 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family. Children: Anne (Gord) Fullerton, Karen (Ken) Evely, Richard Marshall Jr., Danny (Rhonda) Marshall and David (Lorraine) Marshall. Grandchildren: Shelley Anne (Steve) Priddle, Karen Butt (Jeff Parson), Kristopher Evely, Kourtney Evely, Kory Evely, David Marshall Jr., Jane Marshall, Stephanie Fullerton (Jeffery Piercey) and David Fullerton. Great Grandchildren: Sharah Priddle, Claire Rideout and Steven Priddle. Sister: Anne Moriarty. Sisters-In-Law: Rita Gear and Kathleen Kavanagh. Predeceased by Wife Margaret Marshall, Parents Daniel and Sarah Marshall, Sister Alice Gear, and Son-In-Law David Butt. The funeral service took place at St. Patrick's R.C.
