BOUTCHER, MARJORIE - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, October 20, 2011, Marjorie Boutcher of Carbonear, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Wilson; parents: Josiah and Bertha Davis and daughter- in- law: Janet; sister: Anne Davis. Left to mourn, three daughters: Helen (Vincent) Holloway, North Vancouver, Lorna (Lonzel) Button, Harbour Grace and Wendy (George) Snow, Carbonear; one son: Duncan, Victoria; nine grandchildren: Steven, Todd, Leah, David (Kelley), Susan (Jason), Christopher, Katie, Cory (Deanne) and Jody (Deanne); seven greatgrandchildren: Meghan, Hillary, Kyle, Erica, Alyssa, Savannah and Olivia; four brothers: Fred, Clyde (Yvonne), Sam (Dorothy) and Everette (Evelyn); three sisters: Florence Perry, Carol ( Bob) Wilkinson and Glenys (Don) Mcneil; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Mark Janes conducted the funeral service on Monday, October 24 at St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment took place in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. DELANEY, JOHN C. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, October 9, 2011, John C. Delaney of Broad Cove, age 94 years. Predeceased by son: Clarence; daughter: Loraine Wareham; son-in-law: Jim Wareham; parents: John and Lucy; brothers: William and Malcolm; sisters: Annie Reid, Millicent King, Jennie Whalen and Lillian King. Left to mourn, wife: Louisa; five grandchildren: Lonnie (Wanda), Major Louise, Gloria (Mark), Capts. Jennifer (Bradley) and Curtis; four great-grandchildren: Jenna, Cameron, Caden and Brandon; daughter-in-law: Gloria Delaney (Norman), Job's Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, October 12 at Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. SOPER Sr., CHARLES R. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 7, 2011, Charles R. Soper Sr. of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Harry and Irene; brothers: William and Harry; son-in-law: Ronald; brother-inlaw: William Babb; sisters-in-law: Wesley Soper and Winnie Soper. Left to mourn, his loving wife of 65 years: Winnifred; four daughters: Carol (Gordon) Squibb, Carbonear, Beverly Dawson, Bay Roberts, Lillian (Paul) Oliver, Harbour Grace and Lorraine (Russ) Thomas, Mount Pearl; three sons: Howard, Charlie (Joan) and Bruce (Judy), all of Carbonear; fourteen grandchildren: Joanne (David), Steven (Jillian), Stephanie (John), Adam, Shannon (Donna), Michael (Karen), Andrew (Leanne), Megan (Andrew), Erin, Ryan, Hilary, Laura, Aaron and Joel; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers: Ken (Marjorie), Toronto, ON, Don (Marie), Halifax, NS and Lloyd, Dartmouth, NS; one sister: Lillian Babb, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. WALBOURNE, WILFRED - age 59, passed peacefully away on October 13th 2011, after a two year battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, George Walbourne and Effie Slade, Step father Richard Slade, brother-in-law Brendan and niece Michelle Sparkes. Wilfred will always be remembered by his loving family, son Sheldon (Lynn), their children, Hannah and Jaxxon, daughter Melanie (Stacey) their children, Hayden and Hudson. Sisters Ruby (Brendon) and their children, Darlene, Donna (Paul) and their son Nathan. June (Brian), Harry (Natasha) their children, Rylan and Gage. Matilda (Rick) her daughter Linda (Norm) their children, Heather, William, Natalie and Mark. Step Brother Ian (Audrey) their children Vaughan, and Tyson. May and her children, Tamala and Trevor, Jackie and her family, and many more family and friends. Wilfred was a kind and gentle man, with a great sense of humour. He loved his family and cherished the friendships he made over the years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Wilfred had a tremendous spirit and never complained about all he had to go through. He was a fighter right to the end. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bliss Cancer Clinic in St. John's
