JANES, Drucella - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, October 31, 2008, Drucella Janes of Carbonear, age 100 years. Predeceased by husband: George W., daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis and John Cornish; sons: John and Clarence; daughter-in-law: Margaret; grandchildren: Barbara and Angela; great-granddaughter: Sarah; brother: Leo. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Hilda (Bert) Power, Carbonear; four sons: Ambrose (Phyllis), Carbonear, Leo (Debbie), St. John's, George (Peggy) and David, both of Carbonear; special grandson: John Cornish, Alberta; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Evelyn, Carbonear and Iris, Truro, NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water St., Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear. O'LEARY, Dennis - Passed peacefully away on at the Carbonear General Hospital with his family present on October 28th, 2008. Dennis O'Leary, age 53 years. Dennis spent his life dedicated to his students and teaching career. Dennis will be fondly remembered by his mother, Kathleen, his brothers, Patrick, James (Diane), Peter (Linda), Edward (Arlene) and John; his sister Elizabeth (Colin); nephews, nieces, great-niece, and extended family and friends. Predeceased by father, Dennis and nephew Shane.

STANFORD, Harold B.- Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke's Beach on Friday, October 31, 2008, Harold B. Stanford of Broad Cove, age 90 years. Former CNR Employee. Predeceased by wife: Pearl, July 2008; parents: Edward and Cecilia Stanford; brothers: Arthur and Leslie; sisters: Doris Stanford, Bessie Moores, Myrtle Sellars and Viola Baggs. Leaving to mourn: two sons: Ches (Brenda), Clarenville and Ray (Mary), St. John's; four grandchildren: Michelle (Rodney), Steven, Keith and Nancy; four great-grandchildren: Jalen, Marcus, Anna and Daniel; sisters-in-law: Sarah Sellars and Vera Stanford, both of Carbonear; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours on Saturday, November 1st from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Service to take place on Sunday, November 2nd at 1:30 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date. Leaving to mourn, mother: Janie (Ivan) Westby, Victoria; father: Gerald Wareham, Edmonton, AB; one brother: Gerry Wareham, Victoria; two sisters: Dale (Dean) White, Fort McMurray, AB and Tina (Norman) Matskiw, Manitoba; nephews: Scott, Joey, Jamie, Andrew, Craig and Gerry Jr.; step-brothers: Daniel King and Kent Wareham, both of Edmonton, AB; step-sister: Tracee Wareham, Edmonton, AB; uncle: Warrick (Ruby) King, Perry's Cove; aunts: Catherine Butt, Victoria, Jean Canning (Brendan O'Leary) and Shirley (Herb) Flight, both of Salmon Cove; also a large number of cousins and other relatives and friends.
