Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park Nursing Home, St. John's on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, Jeanetta P. 'Jen' Badcock of Broad Cove, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: William; brothers: Hedley and Walter John 'Jack'; infant brother: Maxwell; brothers-in-law: Roy Cousins and Paul Griffith. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Valerie (Frederick) Langer, Carbonear; four sons: Maxwell (Helen), Mount Pearl, Thomas (Elizabeth), Kilbride, Guy (Pauline), Paradise and Walter (Patricia), Goulds; eleven grandchildren: Lori, Tracey, Jim, Mark, Chad, David, Ryan, Jason, Melanie, Rob and Melissa; seven great-grandchildren: TJ, Koady, Steven, Brittany, Tyler, Travis and Henry; brother: Fred (Betty) Harris, St. John, NB; three sisters: Maxine (Ernest) Lockyear, Dildo, Pearl Cousins, Paradise and Edna Griffith, St. John, NB; sisters-in-law: Janet Harris, Victoria and Carrie Harris, St. John, NB; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the funeral service on Saturday, December 1 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment was in the United Church Cemetery, Broad Cove. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, Mazie Pearl Clarke of Carbonear, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Alfred; son: Terry; parents: Arthur and Annie Slade; brothers: George, Ernie and Elijah; infant brother: Rayfield; sister: Doris; infant sister: Mabel. Left to mourn, seven daughters: Ann (Roy) Hoyles, Bonne Bay, Julia (Ernie) Earles, Brandford, ON, Yvonne (Dave) Kennedy, Goderich, ON, Donna (Joseph) White, Carbonear, Doris (Verdon) Lynch, Upper Island Cove, Sharon Neil and Sandra (Harold) Squibb, both of Carbonear; four sons: Rayfield (Bonnie), London, ON, Dale (Virginia), Red Deer, AB, Gary (Sharon) and Wayne, both of Carbonear; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Sidney (Alma) Slade, Ontario, Silas Slade, Carbonear and Clifford (Mary) Slade, Ontario; brother-in-law: Edward (Dolly) Clarke, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Jean Slade, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Left to mourn, sisters-in-law: Jessie Metcalfe, Manuels, Vera Hunt, Luxury Estates, Carbonear and Emily Sheppard, Bay Roberts; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the funeral service on Saturday, November 10 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
