ADAMS, JOHN WILLIAM- Passed away after a short illness in the presence of his family on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, age 76 years. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gladys Adams, sisters Bertha and Jean Adams. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 52 years Margaret, sons: Paul (Claudia) and Murray; grandchildren: Ryan, Andrea and Brandon. Sisters: Marina (Victor), Evelyn (Malcolm), Bertha (Raymond), Glenys (Bill), Margaret ( Johnny); brothers-in-law: Freeman (Betty) and Raymond; sister-in-law: Frances (Keith) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Visitation was Friday, Nov. 25, Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27. Funeral service was scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2 p. m. from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in John Will's memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. ASH, Elizabeth J. "Aunt Lizzie" - "Aunt Lizzie" Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Seniors Home, Clarke's Beach on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, Elizabeth J. 'Aunt Lizzie' Ash of Carbonear, age 89 years. Predeceased by: husband: Arthur; daughter: Iva Green; son: Augustus 'Gus'; sister: Grace Mentions. Left to mourn, two sons: David (Marilyn), Mount Pearl and Gord (Debbie), Victoria; two daughters: Lina (Sidney) Payne and Gloria (Norman) Peddle, both of Heart's Content; eighteen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law: Eric Green, Heart's Content; daughter-in-law: Cora Ash, Carbonear; one brother: Gordon French, Shearstown; brother-in-law: Augustus Mentions, Bay Roberts; sister-in-law: Phyllis Ash, Carbonear.; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Capt. Darin and Major Wendy Boone conducted the funeral service on Saturday, November 5 from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. BRYANT, SAMUEL - Passed peacefully away at the St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, Sask. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, age 66 years. Predeceased by, father & mother, Phillip & Gertrude Bryant, sister Marie Hiscock, and three brother-in-laws, Eldred Stansford, Michael Hickey, and Donald Pinhorn. Leaving to mourn his loving partner Margie Gall and family, Tyrell Lake, Sask., daughter Dana Warren, and two grandsons Alex and Daniel, all of Toronto, Ontario. Two brothers George (Betty) Bryant, and Phillip Bryant, all of New Perlican. Five sisters, Florrie Stansford, Mount Pearl, Blanche (Bernard) Rice, New Perlican, Nellie Pinhorn, Winterton, Kay (Bob) Green, Hant's Harbour, and Patsy (Terry) Stansford, also of New Perlican. Also one brother-in-law, Wallace Hiscock, Winterton, and two special aunts, Blanche Abbott, St. John's, and Mabel Critch, Hant's Harbour. Also a large number of other relatives, and friends. Cremation has taken place, and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

CRON, Frances Patricia 'Pat' - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, November 3, 2011, Pat Cron of Harbour Grace, age 96 years. Predeceased by parents: Dr. Charles and Irene Cron; infant sister: Joan; brothers: George 'Bus', and James; sister-in-law: Jeannette. Left to mourn, nephews: Dr. Charles (Marie) Cron, Halifax, NS, Robert Cron, Sudbury, ON and Bruce (Yvonne) Cron, Saskatoon, Sk.; niece: Heather (Stan) Moores, Harbour Grace; grandnephews: Richard, Guy, Charles and Eric; grandnieces: Jennifer, Sarah, Kristen, Lindsay and Rebecca; sister-in-law: Ivy Cron, Sudbury, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Linda Pike conducted the funeral service on Sunday, November 6 from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Left to mourn, wife: Cherie; one daughter: Nancy (BJ), Marysvale; two sons: Christopher (Sherry & Family), Shearstown and Trevor, Harbour Grace; one granddaughter: Selena; five brothers: Alf (Yvonne) and Isreal (Joan), both of Harbour Grace, Sandy (Cheryl), Edmonton, AB, Lawson, Harbour Grace and John (Cecilia), Lantz, Nova Scotia; six sisters: Rose Sheppard, Bertha (Frank) Martin, Glenda (David) Williams, Carol (Matthew) Drover and Shirley (Scott) Sheppard, all of Harbour Grace and Amy (Robert) Parsons, Bay Roberts; father-in-law: Mark (Marion) Noseworthy, Spaniard's Bay; brother-in-law: Calvin (Roxanne) Noseworthy, Spaniard's Bay; sisters-in-law: Marilyn (Gordon) Murrin, Joanne (Jim) Maynard and Brenda Snow, all of Spaniard's Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. LOVEYS, Wm. Junior - Passed suddenly away on the steps of his shop on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, Wm. Junior Loveys of Small Point, age 61 years. Junior was the proud owner of J & L Convenience Ltd., Small Point. Predeceased by parents: William and Mildred; brother-in-law: Evert den Boer. Left to mourn, wife of 39 years: Jean; daughter: Lorie (Brian) Dinn, Paradise; granddaughter "Poppy's Fairy": Delaney; three brothers: Winslow (Gen), Carbonear, Wade (Sharon), Gull Island and Barry, St. John's; sister: Marion (Merv) Tobin, Western Bay; sister-in-law: Selma den Boer, Small Point; employees of J & L Convenience: Judy Peach, Stephanie Crummey and Lori King; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the funeral service on Sunday, December 4 at Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Tuesday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
