Passed peacefully away at Callingwood Downs Senior's Home, Clarkes Beach on Saturday, May 7, 2016, Sadie C. 'Chrissie' Hudson (nee Crowley) of Blackhead, in her 90th year. Predeceased by husband: Edward J. 'Ted'; daughter: Elsie; brothers: Robert and James; sisters: Mildred and Emilean. Left to mourn, one son: Douglas (Sandra), Paradise; one daughter: Joan (Ron) Dwyer, Blackhead; four grandchildren: Christopher (Karen), Trevor (Kimberley), Grant (Karen), and Robyn (Scott); five great-grandchildren: Megan, Eric, Sophie Rose, Julia, and Natalie; one brother: Clarence (Violet) Crowley, Western Bay; very special niece: Judy (Sam) Bourne, Carbonear and their children: Samantha (David), Douglas (Kathy), Jason (Krista) and their families; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, May 11 at McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment was in the United Church Cemetery, Blackhead.
