Loving husband to Dorothy; beloved father to son Gregory (Allison) and daughter Denise (Gord); and dear "Poppy" to three precious grandchildren: Travis, Jadyn and Janelle. He will also be sadly missed by brother Keith (Olive) of English Harbour, Trinity Bay; sisters: Marion (Austin) of Goose Cove, Trinity Bay, and Ruby (Joe) of Hinton, Alberta; brothers-in-law: Max (Gertie) of Spaniard's Bay and Harry (Cavell) of Ajax, ON. BENNETT, Ella Beatrice (nee Hudson) - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Sunday, May 20, 2007, Ella Beatrice (nee Hudson) Bennett formerly of Blackhead B.D. V. Born December 31, 1913, Ella was the youngest child of Clement and Minnie Julia (nee LeGrow) Hudson. She left to mourn her loving husband: Freeman Bennett at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St. John's; sisters-in- law: Josephine Hudson, St. John's and Gladys Bennett, Victoria, Conception Bay; brother-in-law: Ross Bennett, St. John's. She also left to mourn a cherished niece Rosalyn Hudson and family, St. John's and other nieces and nephews including her namesake Ella Nardone of Inverness, Florida. Ella was a long time church organist and choir director at Blackhead United Church and will be remembered for the love of music. Rev.
