BUSSEY, Mrs. L. Maude - Passed peacefully away at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Fort McMurray, Alberta, on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, Mrs. Maude Bussey, aged 94 years, of Port de Grave. Predeceased by parents: Henry and Drusella LeDrew; husband: William Gordon Bussey; sons: Calvin and Robert Bussey; sisters: Meta (Al) Gourlie, Ada Jenkins; brothers: Leslie (Maude) LeDrew, Austin (Margaret) LeDrew; daughter-in-law: Doris Bussey. Leaving to mourn, one son: Oliver; two daughters: Judy (Seymour) Bishop, Meta (Robert) Ball; 12 grandchildren: Cynthia (Dwight) Petten, Nelson (Christine) Bussey, Goldie (Wade) Gillingham, Michelle (Ken) Bonnell, Glenn Bussey (Doreen), Glenys (Vincent) Boone, Trevor (Kimberly) Bussey, Rodney (Cathy) Bussey, Bradley Bussey (Danielle), Winston (Denise) Bishop, Dion Ball (Jennifer), Debbie (Duane) St. Croix; 20 great-grandchildren: Melanie, Matthew, Melissa, Lyndon, Lorie, Tiffanie, Jonathan, Ashley, Andrew, Sonya, Megan, Logan, Brandon, Donavon, Brittany, Ashley, Nathan, Hannah, Jessica, Jonathan; two great-great-grandchildren: Kobe and Logan Bussey; daughter-in-law: Betty Bussey; brother-in-law: William Jenkins; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Moral Bess conducted the funeral service at The Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Interment was at The United Church Cemetery, Port de Grave. Pallbearers were: Nelson Bussey, Glen Bussey, Trevor Bussey, Rodney Bussey, Winston Bishop and Bradley Bussey. Honorary pallbearer: Mr. Oliver Bussey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach.

CLEARY, Mary M. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, March 31, 2008, Mary M. Cleary of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: John; son: Clarence; parents: Edward and Frances Russell; brothers: Ronald and Edward. Left to mourn, three daughters: Mildred (Bill) Guilfoyle, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Marie (Ed Coombs), Spaniard's Bay and Geri Cleary, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; one son: Jack (Diane) Cleary, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; daughter-in-law: Joan Cleary, Harbour Grace; eleven grandchildren: Brian (Bonnie), Shawn, Bill (Rosalind), Reggie (Debbie), Tina (Ron), Alicia, Randy, Marylynn (George), Jonathan (Renee), Barry and Brent; nine great-grandchildren: Shawna, Ashley, Tyler, Taylor, Stephanie, Brady, Seamus, Jordan and Jamie; one sister: Anna Sullivan, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. DEERING, Sadie I. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, Sadie I. Deering of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: John; daughters: Gladys and Elsie; sons: John C. and Gideon; parents: Henry and Mary Ellen Hiscock; brothers: Ellis and Clayton; sisters: Hula, Irene and May. KELLOWAY, Elizabeth D. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, March 21, 2008, Elizabeth D. Kelloway of Salmon Cove, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: William J.; daughters: Marion Kelloway and Mary L. O'Connell; sons-in-law: Harold O'Connell, Melvin Rose and Chesley Slade; parents: Francis and Abigail Marshall; brothers: Harold and Tom; sisters: Cloe, Emmie, Mae, Evelyn and Rosalie; sisters-in-law: Lillian and Edith; brother-in-law: Eugene. Miller Centre palliative care unit surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer, Thursday, March 6, 2008, Iris Juliet Squires (nee) White. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother. Leaving behind to mourn husband: Charlie; mother: Pearl; son: Jeff (Karen); daughters: Rose (Eugene), Dionne (Les); sisters: Irene, Pauline, Gladys; brother: Gerald; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Paula), Dennis, Stephanie, Katie, Kristi; great-grandchildren: Emma, Kaitlyn, Cassandra, Jade; also a large circle of nieces and nephews.
