Passed on: June 27th, 2018

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, Donald C. Jerrett of Carbonear, age 81 years. Predeceased by wife: Clara; companion: Ruth; sister: Carol and brother: Larry. Left to mourn, two sons: Paul, Toronto, ON and Wayne (Angela), Trenton, ON; two grandchildren: Evan and Shane; four brothers: Duncan (Florence), Pleasantview, Ralph (Eleanor), Carbonear, Kevin (Lynn) and Ivan (Sue), both of Edmonton, AB; four sisters: Gwen (Ralph, deceased) Neil and Sandra Burns, both of Port Hawksbury, NS, Sue (Clarence) Jordan, Riverhead, Hr. Grace, and Janice Hardiman, St. John's; sisters-in-law: Daphne Jerrett, Lacombe, AB and Dale Ann (Rick) Stapleton, Calgary, AB; brother-in-law: Joe LaMorgese, New Jersey, USA; caregiver: Donna Sullivan, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family received relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Fr. Emmanuel Osuagwu conducted the funeral service on Monday, July 2 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment was in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
