Passed in: Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: June 10th, 2017

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Saturday, June 10, 2017, Olive L.E. Homer of Victoria, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: William; parents: William and Hettie Davis; parents-in-law: George Will and Frances Homer; great-grandson: Jonathan Homer; brother: James (Florence) Davis; sisters: Mildred (Pat) Dwyer, Louise (Bill) Snow, and Margaret (Kevin) Earle; in-laws: Herb, Walt, Bob, and Ruby Homer, Bob Snow, and Frank Haire. Left to mourn, three daughters: Cindy (Terry) Badcock, Shearstown, Debbie (Ken) Taylor, and Denise (Keith) Neil, both of Victoria; three sons: Wayne (Marilyn), Salmon Cove, Bruce (Rindy), Western Bay, and Todd, her beloved son and her heart and soul, Carbonear; thirteen grandchildren: Tristan (Hilary), Joanne (Jim), Jason (Jennifer), Megan, David (Vanessa), Chris, Jennifer (Paul), Jesse, Jessica, Crystal, Michael, Kaitlyn, and Devin; ten great-grandchildren: Jacob, Nathaniel, Noah, Hannah, Abbie, Adelaide, Emily, Aiden, Dylan, and Mya; brother: Bill (Phyllis), Ottawa, ON; in-laws: Doris Homer, Oshawa, ON, Shirley Homer, Whitby, ON, Katie Snow, Scarborough, ON, Ruby (Dave) Rodway, Whitby, ON, Steve Homer, Ajax, ON, and Rhoda Haire, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Pastor Geoffrey Ryan conducted the Funeral Service on Tuesday, June from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, P.O. Box 9, Victoria, NL, A0A 4G0 or a charity of one's choice. HUDSON, Warren
Passed in: Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: June 6th, 2017

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, Warren R. Hudson of Adam's Cove, age 92 years. Predeceased by wife: Jeanette; sister: Marcella (Ambrose) Reader; brother: Lewis; sister-in-law: Lorraine Ryan; brother-in-law: Edmund Diamond. Left to mourn, one daughter: Christine (Steve) Beauchamp, Brookside, NS; one son: Robert (Sheena), Adam's Cove; two grandchildren: Nikki and Marc; special cousin, "little sister": Gloria Delaney, Job's Cove; sisters-in-law: Marina Hudson and Cora Diamond, both of Adam's Cove; brothers-in-law: Kevin (Jean) Diamond, CBS and Norman Ryan, St. John's; also a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the Funeral service on Friday, June 9 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment was in the United Cemetery, Blackhead.
