BOLAND, Donald Gordon

It is with a heart full of love and memories we announce the sudden passing on June 28, 2015 of our husband, father and grandfather, Donald Gordon Boland age 65 years. Don is survived by his wife Marlene (Wheeler) Boland, his two daughters Alison (Kevin) Graves and Ashley (Jarred) Matthews of Fort McMurray, AB. Don is also survived by his much loved grandchildren Noah and Laina plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He is also survived by his parents James and Annie Boland of Mt. Pearl, NL, his siblings David, Lorraine, Gary and Debbie. A celebration of Life will be held at the Worship Centre, Canada Drive, St. John's on October 2, at 2 p.m.

CLARKE, Llewellyn G.

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 22, 2015, Llewellyn G. Clarke of Victoria, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Edward and Lily, brothers: Albert, Wilfred, Percival (Cynthia), Maxwell, Ivan and Raymond; sister-in-law: Myrtle. Left to mourn, five brothers: Roy (Ida), Leslie (Florence, deceased), Junior (Barbara) and Bruce (Arlene), all of Victoria and Lloyd (Lois), Cambridge, ON; three sisters: Jessie Clarke, Toronto, ON, Sophie Wheeler, Victoria and Erma (Clifford) Penney, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Florence, Western Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Karen Thorne conducted the funeral service on Thursday, June 25 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Victoria. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. LOUVELLE, Michael Joseph

Passed on: June 9th, 2015
of Bryant's Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 9, 2015 in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Michael was the son of the late John and Mary Louvelle. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife, Cavell; son, Sean (Helen) Louvelle; daughter, Tracy (Darrell) Groom; grandchildren, Jillian, Zachary, Ethan and Alex; 4 sisters, 5 brothers and extensive members from the Louvelle and Noseworthy Families. He was predeceased by his brother Aloysius Louvelle. Michael was a very devoted husband and father who loved his family more than life itself. You will forever be in our hearts. There will be a memorial service in honor of Michael, details to follow. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.

MERCER, Graham

It is with profound sadness and with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Graham Mercer. Graham passed away on June 27th, 2015 at the Port Moody Crossroads Hospice, British Columbia after losing his battle with cancer. Graham lived, loved and laughed to the fullest, leaving us with such fond memories of this wonderful, spirited man. Graham is predeceased by his parents, Graham and Dorcas Mercer, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and William Wareham, Elise McGann, sisters-in-law, Hazel Mercer and Gertie Mercer. He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife, Gladys; his dear children, Vanessa (Peter), Vance (Shannon), and his treasured grandchildren, Nick, Hannah, Kennedy and Brooklyn, all living in British Columbia. As well, his brothers, Clarence and Worrick, Upper Island Cove, Randell (Sandra), Gander; sisters, Evelyn (John), Hamilton, Ontario, and Laura, Upper Island Cove; special relatives, Bob and R.G. (Melissa) McGann, DuPont, WA; his nieces, nephews, a huge circle of other relatives, friends and his network of Prostate Cancer Survivors. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water St., Carbonear on Thursday, August 20th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, August 21st from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 21st at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Bond St., Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Church Cemetery, LeMarchant St., Carbonear. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Monday, June 29, 2015, Donald Morris of Lower Island Cove, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: William John and Mary Ann; parents-in-law: John and Sarah Blundon. Left to mourn, his loving wife and best friend of 58 years, Nellie; four children: Debbie (Allan), Perry (Shellie), Connie (Steve) and Donette (Mark) and special family member: David Reynolds; four grandchildren: Jesse, Regan, Sierra and Brooklyn; sister-in-law: Jennie Riggs (Llewellyn, deceased); also a large number of other relatives and friends, and staff and students of Jackson Walsh. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. T. Wayne Blackwood conducted the Funeral Service on Thursday, July 2 at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. NOREN, Millicent Eloise

Passed on: June 25th, 2015
Millicent Eloise Noren, the youngest daughter of ten children from Albert and Cora Ann Walsh, passed last Thursday morning in her home in Richland Hills, Texas. Born in Western Bay on December 18, 1922, she lived her adult life in many parts of the US but never forgot her Newfoundland roots and often spoke of her childhood with fond memories and never missed the opportunity to enjoy a good meal of fish and brews. Millicent leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Charles Noren and her daughter Christine Noren-Gentry, her son-in-law Calvin Gentry and one grandson by birth, Christopher Gentry, and one adopted Justin Manis.
She will be greatly missed but her memory will be with us until we meet again

SALTMAN, Margaret
Passed in: Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: June 15th, 2015
It is with sadness that the family of Mrs. Margaret Saltman of Harbour Grace announce that she passed away peacefully at Carbonear General Hospital on June 15, 2015 at the age of 89 years-old. She leaves to mourn her loving family including sons William (Jan), David (Dagmar), Peter (Marion) and daughter Jane (Allan). She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Jennifer, Angela, Evan, Michael and Ben. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Dr. Kenneth Saltman and her parents John and Nancy Lloyd. Margaret (affectionately known as Peggy), born and raised in North Wales, has always loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Peggy was a founding member of the Conception Bay Kennel Club and always enjoyed working with all the other dog lovers, many of which became her dear friends. Special thanks go out to Margaret Neil and Danita Snow who helped her over the past few years and were there for her in her final days. Thanks also Cindy Tetford; your friendship and support was appreciated. In addition, we would like to thank Dr. Phil Lefeurve, staff at the Carbonear General Hospital and Dr. Renelle Butt. An informal celebration of life was held at Slade's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm.
