BISHOP, Mary Emma - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on June 27, 2008, Mary Emma Bishop of Spaniard's Bay in her 89th year. Predeceased by husband: Harold L. Bishop (1998); parents: Suzanna and Leonard Gosse; sisters: Gertrude (John) Smith, Bertha (Richard) Noseworthy, Cassie (Graham) Seymour; brothers: Richard (Rose) Gosse, John Gosse Reid (Ruth); brothers-in-law: John Bishop (Nellie), Edward Smith and Howard Andrews. Left with fond and loving memories daughters: Bertha (Ray) Adams, Spaniard's Bay, Janice (Randell) Drover, Upper Island Cove; sisters: Ethel (Otto) Clarke, Tilton, Mildred Andrews, Shearstown; granddaughters: Carol Ann (Todd) Crane, Lori (Brent) Mercer, Terri-Lynn (Gordie) Meadus; grandsons: Shawn (Lorraine) Drover, Robin (Charlene) Drover; great-grandchildren: Mackenzie and Madison Crane, Brianna, Reily and Darien Meadus, Noelle and Shelby Drover and Brandon and Abby Drover; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Young's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. The funeral service took place on Monday, June 30 at Holy Redeemer Church, Spaniard's Bay with interment followed at Maul Tree Hill Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay. In her memory flowers were greatfully accepted or donations made to the Holy Redeemer Church or a charity of one's choice.

BRADBURY, Tyler Paul - Passed away suddenly as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident on Saturday, June 21, 2008, Tyler Paul Bradbury of Bay Roberts, aged 18 years. Predeceased by father Bruce; grandparents: James Gushue and Roy Bradbury; cousins: Cory Bradbury, Clinton Chard, Sonya Fitzpatrick and Becky Laracey. Leaving to mourn, his mother Carol Bradbury; two brothers: Andrew and Conrad (Kylie); grandparents: Julie Gushue and Margaret Bradbury; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Tyler was a fun loving, free spirited young man who lived his short life to the fullest. He was a talented amateur artist and enjoyed his career as a fisherman and time with his many friends who will miss him dearly. Major's Terry and Roxanne Feltham conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel on Thursday, June 26, 2008. Interment was at Salvation Army Cemetery, Coley's Point. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Moore's Funeral home, Bay Roberts. Pallbearers were Conrad Bradbruy, Kenneth Porter, Justin Greenland, Judson Parsons, Michael Petten, Matthew Petten, Shane Seymour and Shane Caravan.

BURSEY, Robert G. - Passed suddenly away at Leduc, AB on Friday, June 27, 2008, Robert G. Bursey of Broad Cove, age 51 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Bessie Bursey; brother: Wesley Bursey. Left to mourn, two brothers: Tony, Kingston and Paul (Tina) St. John's; three sisters: Sharon (Brian) Rose, Wendy Bursey and Michelle (Gary) Peach, Ochre Pit Cove; best friend: Kelly Shredder, Alberta; nieces: Nicole, Dawn, Patricia, Tanya, Katrina and Megan; nephews: Jamie, Dawson, Nathan, Michael, David, Mark and Matthew. and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, July 1st at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay. Interment was in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. BUTT, E. Jean - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 23, 2008, E. Jean Butt of Perry's Cove, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Clarence; parents: Richard and Fannie; six brothers and four sisters. Left to mourn, two daughters: Ursula (Freeman) King, Carbonear and Fannie (Robert) Slade, Salmon Cove; one son: Walter (Joan), Pouch Cove; nine grandchildren: Winston, Randy (Leona), Derrick (Linda), Rick (Sharon), Baxter, Frank (Joeann), Wanda (Roland), Kerri (Joy) and Valetta (Kerri); fifteen great-grandchildren: Susan (Geoff), Michael, Kyle, Tammy, Sammy, Ricky, Brandon, Adam, Adrian, Jeremy, Tyler, Brandan, Nadine, Morgan and special great-grandson: Ryan; great-great-grandson: Zachery; three sisters: Effie Ball and Louise (Daniel 'Bud') Evans, both of Ontario and Myrtle Nolan, Kelligrews; sister-in-law: Jean Pardy, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. WINSOR, Ms. E Marilyn - Passed suddenly away at her home in Bay Roberts on Sunday, June 22, 2008, Ms. Elizabeth Marilyn Winsor, aged 63 years. Predeceased by her parents, Allan Winsor Esq. and Julia Winsor. Leaving to mourn, three sons: Christopher (Jennifer) Sheppard, Louisiana, Mark (Michele) Sheppard, Nova Scotia, Jonathan (Angela Clarke) Sheppard, Alberta; one daughter: Eileen Kennedy (Brian Besso), Bell Island; one sister: Allana (Fred) Williams, Bay Roberts; niece: Sherry Follett; nephew: Billy Follett; four grandchildren: Breanna Elizabeth, Julia Rose, Hailie Anne, Sarah Elizabeth; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. WINSOR, Mildred (Gough) - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 2, 2008, Mildred (Gough) Winsor of Harbour Grace, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband Rev. Naboth Winsor, June 2, 1997. Left to cherish her memory are her two loving daughters, Lynne and husband John Smith, Harbour Grace and two cherished grandchildren Stuart, wife Cathrina and precious great-grandson Felix and Sarah (Kory Brockway); Anne and husband Nathan Gosse, Harbour Grace and son Dale and daughter Kim; special grandchildren Heather and Sandra Shute; sister Winnie Bennett, London, ON; brother Walter Gough and wife Mabel, Elliston; sisters-in-law Jean Gough, Stanhope, PE, Marie Winsor, Mount Pearl and Ruth Chute, London, ON; two special nieces Kathleen Parsons and Shirley Gough, St. John's; dear cousins Ruby Winsor, and Tom and Marie Winsor, Wesleyville; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
