COLBOURNE, Gordon - of Carbonear passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, June 2, 2005. Mr. Colbourne was 57 years old. He was predeceased by his parents: William and Geraldine Colbourne. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Margaret; daughters: Renee (Vince) Clark, Carbonear, Rhonda (Danny) Marshall, Riverhead; precious granddaughter Abigail Clark, Carbonear; sisters: Betty (Wayne) Butt, Carbonear, Claudine (John) Butt, Carbonear; brothers: Jim (Sophie) Colbourne, Carbonear, George (Ruth) Colbourne, Carbonear, Eric (Glenda) Colbourne, Carbonear, Morley (Ann) Colbourne, Carbonear; grandmother Pearl Colbourne, U.S.A.; aunt Agatha Green, Carbonear; brothers-in-Iaw: Terry (Margaret) Sullivan, Riverhead, Ron (Joan) Sullivan, Riverhead, Brendan (Alice) Sullivan, Carbonear; five nieces, 14 nephews, three great nieces and six great nephews; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Arch Deacon I. Sheppard conducted the Funeral Service on Sunday, June 5, 2005 from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear, followed by the interment at the Carbonear Interfaith Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Slade's Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear. Pallbearers were his sons-in-law: Vince Clark and Danny Marshall; his brothers: Jim, George, Eric and Morley.
JORDAN, Agnes - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, June 18, 2005, Agnes Jordan of Harbour Grace, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband Michael; parents: Henry and Mary Hunt; granddaughters: Lisa Drake and Deborah Snow; sisters: Alice McCarthy and Annie Noseworthy; brothers: William and Harry; sons-in- law: Lionel Wheeler and Francis McCarthy. STURGE, Gertie Lillian - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on June 23, 2005, age 61 years. Predeceased by her father Everett, mother Emma, sister Rose Noseworthy and grandson Tyler Sturge. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, husband Hayward, son Everett (Arlene), brother Warrick Squires (Dorothy), brother Charlie Squires (Iris), special friend Janette Norris, nieces and nephews and many friends. Many thanks to the staff at both the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center and the Dr. A. A Wilkinson Memorial Hospital. Cremation to took place with Memorial Service on June 27 at the United Church, Old Perlican.
