Left to mourn, husband: Joseph 'Joe'; four daughters: Suzanne (Dwayne) Trickett, Upper Gullies, Charlene (Frank) Wilson, Calgary, AB, Arlene Newell, Carbonear, and Tanya (Mike) Murphy, Kilbride; two sons: Curtis (Jacqueline), Elmsdale, NS and Scott (Sherrie Ann), Carbonear; ten grandchildren: Jonathan, Matthew, Zachary, Ben, Daniel, Christopher, Adriana, Abby, Eva, and Brody; five brothers: Rendall (Teri), Bobby (Laurie), Albert (Cathy), Terry (Cathy), and Tony (Charlene); three sisters: Ivy (Bob) Penney, Holly (Will) Jenkins, and Linda Parsons (Ed); sister-in-law: Sylvia Parsons; also a large number of other relatives and friends. With sadness, the family of Clifford John Dawson announce his passing on July 12, 2017. Clifford leaves behind his dear wife Carmel. He will be sadly missed by his four children Clifford (Monique), Barry (Sharon), Debbie Ridd (Kevin Ridd) and Bob (Pattie).
Cherished grandfather to Nathan, Carly, Matthew, Jacob, Bethany, Olivia, Courtney, Michael, Alexandra and Bradley.
Family from Cupids, Conception Bay and Labrador of Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the USA all send heartfelt condolences.
Dad worked as a transport truck driver for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters. He won multiple safety awards for driving with no accidents. He was born in Conception Bay, Newfoundland on June 7th, 1937. Dad is predeceased by his siblings Bill Dawson, Mary White, Kevin Dawson, Margaret McGrath and Ronald Dawson.

Left to mourn, her children: Nolan, Rilan, and Leah Swain, and their dad: Wes Swain; partner: Peter Burry and his son: Noah; mother: Cheryl, Bristol's Hope; father: Charles (Brenda), CBS; brother: Brian (Sabrina), CBS; sister: Robyn, Bristol's Hope; niece: Claire; nephew: Matthew; and a large number of other relatives and friends. It is with profound sadness that his parents, Ellen Cleary and Harold O'Keefe announce the sudden passing of their beloved son, Darryl Joseph O'Keefe, in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia on July 20, 2016. Darryl was born in Labrador City, NL on September 15, 1977. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Rose Ryan & Andrew Cleary of Southeast, Placentia, NL, his grandparents, Mary O'Reilly & Thomas O'Keefe of Jerseyside, Placentia, NL, his aunt Geraldine O'Leary of St. John's, NL, his special uncle, Gregory O'Keefe of Jerseyside, Placentia, NL and his aunt Mary Edith O'Reilly-O'Keefe of Jerseyside, Placentia, NL. Leaving to mourn his passing along with his Mom and Dad, are his partner Lesa Benson and her son, Tristan Surrette, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends and co-workers both in Labrador City, NL and Halifax, Nova Scotia. A visitation of remembrance will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The prayer service will begin at 12:30 , with inurnment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia, NL.
