Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 24, 2016, Florence Clarke of Victoria, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Clarence (1969); brothers: Lionel Priddle and Herbert (Edith) Priddle; sisters-in-law: Beatrice Priddle and Glenys Vaters. Left to mourn, four daughters: Mona (William) Clarke and Suzanne (Dennis) Byrne, both of Victoria, Patti (Grayson) Winsor, Grand Falls-Windsor, and Penni Clarke, Toronto, ON; one son: Brad Clarke, St. John's; five grandchildren: Clarence (Cindy), Adam (Marsha), Andrew, Paul, and Amelia; one great-grandson: Max; two brothers: Harold Priddle, Carbonear and David Vaters, Victoria; one sister: Ruth (Eric) Witcher, Stanhope; sister-in-law: Geneva Priddle, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Pastor Geoffrey Ryan conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, July 26 from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Passed suddenly but peacefully away at her residence on Saturday, July 9, 2016, Janet Harris of Broad Cove, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: Hedley, parents: Stephen and Cecilia Cull, and a number of brothers and sisters. Left to mourn, three daughters: Joyce (Gerald) Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear, Florence (Winston) Slade and Annie (Glen) Slade, both of Salmon Cove; three sons: Clifford (Donna) and Thomas (Shirley), both of Victoria, and Barry (Renee), Conception Bay South; twelve grandchildren: Jerry (Melanie), Michael (Jessica), Clifford (Shianne), Adam, Sarah (Kevin), Aimee (Mitchell), Tammy (Frank), Kelly (Scott), Jennifer (Brad), Robbie (Vickie), Bradley, and Crystal; twenty great-grandchildren: Mitchell, Kaitlyn, Dakota, Anthony, Abigail, Alicia, Frankie, Brandon, Luke, Josh, Ava, Carly, Olivia, Blake, Brooke, Peyton, Gage, Tyson, Tyler, and Ally; sisters-in-law: Edna Griffith and Carrie Harris, both of St. John, NB, and Maxine (Ernie) Lockyer, Dildo; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rev. Glen Jarvis conducted the Funeral service on Wednesday, July 13 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment took place in the United Church Cemetery, Blackhead.
