DROVER, Irene - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on July 12, 2009, Irene Drover of Spaniard's Bay, aged 60 years. Predeceased by father Dennis Dobbin and sister Mary. GENGE, Porter - June 22, 1947 - July 18, 2009 - Passed peacefully away on Saturday July 18, 2009 at the age of 62 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years Sadie Genge; children Paul (Kimberly) Genge and Sheri (Travis) Genge; grandson Kieran Genge; sisters Pearl Dowden and Constance McLean both of St. John's; brothers Samuel (Aggie) Genge of St. John's and Steven Genge of Anchor Point. Porter was born in Newfoundland and lived most of his life there. His family will remember him mostly for his love of golf and his sense of humor that put every one at ease. MANNING, Edward J. - Passed peacefully away at his daughter's residence on Friday, July 3, 2009. Edward J. Manning, of Moncton, NB and formerly of Carbonear, NL, aged 81 years. Born in Harbour Grace, NL, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anne (Ryan) Manning. Edward was a retired accountant. He attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Moncton and St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Carbonear. Edward was an avid reader, enjoyed reading and studying history, genealogy, working with his computer, but first and foremost was quality time spent with his family. Edward will be sadly missed by his children: Jo-Ann Manning, Moncton, NB, Brenda Manning, London, ON, Brian Manning (Christine), Carbonear, NL; grandchildren: Erin, Maureen, Marc, Jayne; great-granddaughter: Olivia; brother: Gerard (Daphne), Labrador City; several nieces and nephews.
