Predeceased by husband: Thomas; son: Kenneth; daughter: Jeanie; granddaughter: Lisa; brother: Ronald and sister: Madge. Left to mourn, five daughters: Patricia Cleary; St. John's, Judy (Manuel) Pardy; Cartwright, Lab, Linda Earle (special friend Jens Havmand), Phyllis (Luke) Reynolds and Michelle (Steve) Haire, all of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; five sons: Ronald (Brenda), Deer Park, Kevin (Carolann), Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Thomas (Gladys), Kamloops, BC, Donald (Tina), Ottawa, ON and Scott (Deanne), Riverhead, Harbour Grace; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one sister: Julia Edwards, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Mary Cleary, Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Marie Cleary; St.John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. EVANS, Ruby Doreen - Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, St. John's on Saturday, January 27, 2007, Ruby Doreen Evans of St. John's, formerly of Winterton, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband Eli; son Wilson; granddaughter Jacqueline; son-in-law George Fuller. Left to mourn, one son: Clarence, St. John's; one daughter: Ethel (Bruce) Hounsell, Kilbride; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Ray Case conducted the funeral service at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton on Monday, January 29 and interment was at Trinity United Cemetery, Winterton. Pallbearers were Darrell Reid, Paul George, Lloyd Tuck, David Mayo, Colin Hiscock, Dennis Coates, all members of the Winterton Fire Department. Funeral arrangements were by Green's Funeral Home.

GALWAY, John J. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday; January 10, 2007, John J. Galway of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Nora; brothers: Tom, Leo, Bernard and James; sister: Mary. HARRIS, Hubert John - Passed away peacefully Hubert John Harris of New Chelsea at Carbonear General Hospital on January 23, 2007. Hubert was a member of the Salvation Army Men's Fellowship. PARTRIDGE, Ralph C. - Passed peacefully away at Health Science Center on Monday; January 1, 2007, of Bay Roberts, aged 60 years. Ralph loved life to the fullest. His faith, extraordinary will and determination were particularly exemplified during the past 5½ years as he lived with leukemia. He leaves his family with cherished memories including those growing up in Carnduff, Saskatchewan. PILGRIM, William - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, January 27, 2007, William Pilgrim of Carbonear, age 91 years. William served in the Canadian Army as a Royal Canadian Engineer; he was a long time employee of Regatta Ford, both in St. John's and Spaniard's Bay; and devoted over 60 years of his life to the Salvation Army Band, both in St. John's and Carbonear. Predeceased by wife: Bertha, 1984, sister-in-law: Margaret Pilgrim, 2005 and nephew: Wellington Pilgrim, 2006. Predeceased by her husband Ralph, 1995. Alma leaves behind her loving and supportive family: sons; Randy (Cathy Ann), Keith (Joan), Neil; daughter Glenda (Jim) Badcock; sisters: Sarah (Randell) Drover, Nellie (Malcolm) Wilson, Evelyn (Sandy) Pearson; brothers: Lewis (Dianne) Dawe, Bill (Lois) Dawe; grandchildren: Adam, Adrian and Karen Whelan, Edward and Erica Badcock, Ashley and Allison Rockwood, Andrew Dawe; sister-in-law Millicent Whelan; brother-in-law Bram Burry; and many other special family and friends. Rev'd Elsie Pottle conducted the funeral service at Cupids United Church, Cupids on Monday, January 22, 2007. A private family inurnment has taken place.
