CLARKE, Mollie P. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2005, Mollie P. Clarke of Victoria, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Allan R.; sons: Reginald Edward and William; parents: Absalom and Isabella Murray; brothers: Jack, Obediah, Silas, Joshua, Bill and Allan; sister Louise. Left to mourn, six daughters: Mona (Dennis) Cole, Victoria, Goldie (Danny) Mercer, Scarborough, ON, Claudette (Bernard) Smith, Donna (Dave) Downing, Annie (Elihu) Snook and Greta (Sergio) Silvaggi, all of Victoria; two daughters-in-law: Michelle Clarke, Shearstown and Susan Clarke, Harbour Grace; 20 grand- children: Tracey, Sheana, Allan, Travis, Robert, Michael, Ross, Adrianna, Scott, Lori, Claudette, Lisa, Pauline, Dana, Dale, Tony, Barbara, Brenda, Art and Tina; 23 great grandchildren; one sister Annie (Claude) Young, Clarke's Beach; sister-in-law Marjorie Gosse, Spaniard's Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Pastor Geoffrey Ryan conducted the funeral service on Thursday; January 20 at Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mollie P. COLE, Harold W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Funeral Hospital on Saturday, January 15, 2005, Harold W. Cole of Victoria, age 56 years. Predeceased by sister Louise; brother James; parents-in-law: John and Julia Reynolds. Left to mourn wife Peggy; three sons: Harold J.(Tracy), Comox, BC, Anthony (Nancy), Red Deer, AB and Shawn (Charlene), Victoria; one daughter Lisa, Victoria; six grandchildren: Toni K, Jackson, Natalie, Toni C., Keesha and Requal; parents: Harold V: Sr. and Gertrude, Victoria; one brother: Eugene (Virda), Victoria; step-brother: Patrick (Mary) Harrington, Carbonear; brothers-in-law: Dave (Rita) Reynolds, Burton, NB, Bill (Geraldine) Reynolds, Labrador City and Tom White, Salmon Cove; also a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. COLLINS, Wilson M. - Of Carbonear (Husband of Bertha M. Collins) passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 10, 2005. Mr. Collins was 83 years old. He was predeceased by his parents: Sam and Cecilia Collins; brothers: Jack and Frank Collins; sisters: Louise Burden, Margaret Penney, Mollie Snow, Lill Baxtrum, Sophia Budden. He leaves to mourn his loving family: wife Bertha M. Collins, Carbonear; children: Rosalind (Art) Noseworthy, Harbour Grace, Kathleen (Bert) Woodland, Buchans, Sam (Linda) Collins, Lloydminster, AB; sister Eva Ash, Victoria; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral service took place on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from Bethany United Church, Carbonear followed by the interment at the Carbonear Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers: Sam Sr. and Sam Jr. Collins, Art Sr., Dion, Art Jr. Noseworthy and Derrick Woodland. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Slade's Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear.

HARRIS, Dorothy H. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 27, 2005, Dorothy H. Harris of Port de Grave, formerly of New Chelsea, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband William; daughter Evelyn and great-grandson Kolby Rideout. Left to mourn, three daughters: Hazel (Robert) Gillard, Pickering, ON, Robena (Mac) Jennings, Brampton, ON and Nellie (David) Porter, Port de Grave; three sons: Newman (Vella), Summerford, Raynor (Shirley), Little Burnt Bay and Hayward (Rosemary), St. John's; 14 grandchildren: Lomell, Nerissa, Corey, Cristina, Robinlyn, Gary, Geoffrey, Ladonna, Colin, Hazel, Jennifer, Rayanne, Christopher and Tegan; 15 great-grandchildren: Matthew, Marcus, Brianna, Joshua, Caleb, Faith, Tanisha, Nicholas, Melanie, Nathan, Aaron, Emily; Damian, Aiapay and Amber; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pastor Moral Bess conducted the funeral service on Sunday, January 30 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle and Pentecostal Cemetery, Port de Grave. HOWELL, Hannah P. (Antle) - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, January 9, 2005, Hannah P. Howell of Carbonear, age 77 years. Predeceased by husband Herbert; daughter Brenda; son- in-law Chesley Spurrell; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Louise (Michael) Mulley, Mabel (Gordon) Butt, Elizabeth Brake, Doris, (Obediah) Murray and Lawrence Byrne. Left to mourn: three daughters: Beulah Spurrell (Winston Bradbury), Harbour Grace South, Maxine (Donald) Pye and Daphne (John) Crane, both of Carbonear; two sons: Herbert Jr., Holyrood and Clarence (Ruth), London, ON; eight grandchildren: Derrick (Sharon), Roger (Gina), Maxine (George Jr.), Krystle, Kristopher, Cory, Bradley and Ashley; six great-grandchildren: Kyle, Abigail, Harry, Susannah, Clara Beth and Hannah Florence; two brothers: Charles Antle and Clarence Antle, both of Victoria; two sisters: Bertha (Obediah) Antle and Phyllis Byrne, both of Victoria; brother-in-law George (Dallas) Brake, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by brothers Thomas (Gertrude), Ralph, Samuel, Charles and sister Rita. Leaving to mourn wife Enid; sons: John (Bernice), Arch (Janet), Rev'd Bruce (Dianne); eight grandchildren: Stephen, Andrew, Andrea, Trevor, Travis, Susan, Philip and Nicolle; five great grandchildren: Travis Joe, Jarrett, Tanner, Rebecca, Chad; sister-in-law Gladys Kearley; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev'd James Min conducted the funeral service at Central United Church and Cemetery, Bay Roberts on Monday, January 17, 2005. Funeral arrangements were by Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. KING, Wilson C. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 31, 2005, Wilson C. King of Carbonear, age 85 years. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Loretta; brothers: George, Harold and Ralph; sisters: Lillian and Matilda. Left to mourn, wife Effie D.; five daughters: Doris (David) Clarke, Labrador City, Effie (Gerald) Mercer, Bay Roberts, Judy (John) Colbourne, Carbonear, Phyllis (David) Collins, Victoria and Rosalie (Leonard) Williams, Harbour Grace; five sons: Albert and Harold (Joan), both of Carbonear, Lindsay (Karen), Perry's Cove, Wilson (Joy), Salmonier and Byron (Kellie), Catalina; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Carew, Gander; brothers-in-law: Bill (Aldo) Swain, Sydney, NS and Ed Swain (Stella Noseworthy), Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband William; son Clyde; brothers: Caleb (Winnie) and William (Theresa); sisters: Alice (Joseph) Richards and Annie Churchill. Leaving to mourn: sons: William (Mildred), David (Margaret) and Clayton; dauthers: Vera (David) Donnely, Ethel Dusey; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor D. Emberley conducted the funeral service at Full Gospel Pentecostal Tabernacle and Pentecostal Cemetery; Shearstown on Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Funeral arrangements were by Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach. Pallbearers were Stephen Hutchings, Travis Hutchings, William Hutchings, George Tuttle, Charles Tuttle and Edsel Parsons.

WHITE, Samuel J. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, January 18, Samuel J. White of Carbonear, age 56 years. Predeceased by parents: Samuel and I Mary. Left to mourn: brother Peter, Carbonear; sister Alice G., Kelligrews; aunt Gertie Lacey, Middlebury, Vermont, USA; also a number of cousins as well as other relatives and friends. Fr. William Matthews and Fr. F.J. Aylward conducted the funeral mass on Thursday, January 20 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Carbonear.
