Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizen's Home, Clarke's Beach on Saturday, February 7, 2015, Nellie M. Barrett of Salmon Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: William; son: Kevin; parents: John and Fannie Adey; infant brothers: Joseph and Edward; brother: Gordon, whom she was very close to and sisters: Gertrude 'Trudy' and Florence. Left to mourn, brother: Harvey, St. Catherine's, ON; sister: Maude, Toronto, ON, also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear Rev. T. Wayne Blackwood conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, February 10 from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St. John's on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, John 'Jack' Callahan of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 86 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Regiment and a proud veteran of the Korean War. Predeceased by his parents: John and Mary Callahan; two infant siblings: Nellie and Mike; five brothers: Leo, Pat, Bill, Frank and Ned; three sisters: Marie Byrne, Angela Roberts and Veronica Callahan. Left to mourn, two sisters: Kathleen Coombs and Gertrude Connolly, both of Harbour Grace; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Fr. Jose Joaquin conducted the Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 28 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Formally of Winterton, NL, passed peacefully away at Etobicoke General Hospital, Etobicoke, ON on Thursday February 26, 2015. Predeasced by father, Arthur Follett and mother, Elizabeth Green. Left to mourn are his son, Thomas Follett; sisters, Alice Vivian (Jim), Beverley Williams (Derek); brother, Leonard Follett (Ruth); step-brothers, Bill, Randy and Keith Green, and Aunt Doris (Ted). As well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and numerous relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be announced at a later date.

Predeceased by daughter: Debra, son: Todd, parents: Leo and Emily Snook, brother: William. Left to mourn, husband: Phillip; three daughters: Patricia (Paul) Taylor, Kenmore, ON, Sandra (Luc) Levesque and Roxanne (Cecil) Brown, both of Upper Island Cove; eleven grandchildren: Phillip (Mindy), Walter, Pathrena, Krista, Sabrina, Christopher (Somer), Matthew, Bradley, Alexis, Ryan and Emily; seven great-grandchildren: Aaron, Hope, Haley, Jacob, Emma, Anabelle and Audrina; one brother: Garfield Snook, Stephenville; members of the Harris family, Truro, NS and a large extended family from the Port au Port Peninsula; as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Leaving to mourn, his wife Jennie of 51 years; daughter, Gail and son-in-law, Karl; son, Robbie; grandchildren: Jennifer (Cory) Tucker, Tyler (Katelyn), Nicole Jordan (Goulds) and Oaklei Riggs (Alberta); siblings: Florence Barrett (Henley - deceased), Newman and Grace Riggs, Sally and Bob Luedee; sisters-in-law, Joan Riggs and Nellie (Don) Morris; a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; an extended circle of family and friends; as well as special friend, Edward Broaders.
