Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park Nursing Home, St. John's on Sunday, February 17, 2013, Orville Budden of Perry's Cove, age 70 years. Predeceased by son: Dwayne; parents: Martin and Jane; brothers: Llewellyn and Bill; sisters: Harriet and Yvonne. Left to mourn, one daughter: Vickie Brown, Brampton, ON; one son: Perry (Rebecca), Victoria; four grandchildren: Shaquille, Maisha, Courtney and Calen; one great-grandchild: Savanna; one brother: Herb Budden; three sisters: Virtue Kelloway, Carbonear, Louise King, Buchans and Betty Kelloway, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Brian Colbourne conducted the funeral service on Thursday, February 21 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment took place in Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in his memory may be made to the Orville Budden Memorial Fund. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, February 2, 2013, Olive P. Crocker of Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Richard; daughter: Frances and son-in-law: Wayne Verge; grandsons: Devan, Justin and Perry; great-granddaughter: Victoria; brothers: Theodore, Chesley and Robert. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Mary (Gordon) Verge and Dianne (Hayward) Verge, both of Harbour Grace, Phyllis Forward (William Newman), St. John's and Sherry (Stephanie) Hansen, Calgary, AB; four sons: Rupert (Marie) and Richard, both of Harbour Grace, Robert (Connie Gaskell), Cambridge, ON and Wayne Verge, Hamilton, ON; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sister: Fran Pearce, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker and Pastor Wallace White conducted the funeral service on Monday, February 4 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hr. Grace. Left to mourn, eight daughters: Judy (Lloyd) Green, Carbonear, Elsie (Will) Collins, Victoria, Dallas (Eric) Parsons, Freshwater, Carbonear, Helen (Hubert) Parsons, Salmon Cove, Leona (Randy) King and Susan (Dennis) Green, both of Freshwater, Carbonear, Claudia (Bernie) Woodrow, Salmon Cove and Claudette (David) White, Freshwater, Carbonear; five sons: Bert (Frederica), Nelson and Jim (Denise), all of Carbonear, Evan (Barbara) and Junior (Bonnie), both of Freshwater, Carbonear; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Sarah Hatcher, Bonne Bay and Ethel Deering, Freshwater, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Harriet Parsons, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by 1st husband: Johnathon Carew and 2nd husband: Abram Penney; sister: Dolly and step-grandson: Terry. Left to mourn, son: Campbell (Sylvia) Carew, St. John's; two grandchildren: Christopher (Heidi) and Andrea (Paul); three great-grandchildren: Sarah, Johnathon and Olivia; step-daughter: Eileen (Woodrow) Snow, Kelligrews; two step-grandchildren: Lisa and Tammy; sister-in-law: Minnie (Don) Kirby, Boston. Ever loved and sadly missed by legions of dear friends and extended family too numerous to mention. With a sharp wit, mind and sense of humour that never left her, she leaves a gap in all our hearts.
