BISHOP, Paul Jr. - Passed away suddenly at the Halifax Infirmary on February 5, 2010, Paul Bishop Jr. of Upper Island Cove, aged 25 years. He is predeceased by his grandfathers Archibald Coombs and Herbert Bishop. Left with fond and loving memories are his parents Paul and Marilyn Bishop; fiancée Kerri Mercer; sisters: Jessica and Jillian; brother Steven; grandmothers Vera Coombs and Doris Bishop; special friends Cleo, Jake, Mace and Minnie; along with aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends. DEERING, Mrs. Ethel - Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, February 4, 2010, Mrs. Ethel Deering, age 95 years, of Shearstown. Predeceased by her parents: Eleazer and Sarah Jane Barrett; husband: Thomas George Deering: daughter: Christine Mercer; son: Herbert; sisters: Irene (James) Hunt, Theresa Barrett; brothers: Abraham Barrett and Herbert (Gladys) Barrett; son-in-law: Irving Snow. Leaving to mourn: one son: Wallace (Rosolind) Deering; two daughters: Phyllis Deering and Jane Snow; fifteen grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; son-in-law: Joseph Mercer and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
