BUDDEN, Audrey - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2009, Audrey Budden of Salmon Cove, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Warrick and Julia Wareham; brother: Howard; parents-in-law: Stephen and Sarah Budden. Left to mourn, husband: Wallace; three sons: Charles, Salmon Cove, Chris (Winnie), Denver, Colorado, USA and Robert "Bob" (Darlene), Salmon Cove; three grandchildren: Sara, Keegan and Liam; six brothers: Robert (Glenys) Wareham and Warrick "Junior" (Clara) Wareham, both of Salmon Cove, David (Linda) Wareham, St. John's, Edward (Geraldine) Wareham, Scarborough, Ontario, Clayton (Marie) Wareham, Carbonear and Wallace "Wally" Wareham, Brampton, Ontario; two sisters: Joyce (Rayfield) Budden, Carbonear and Clara (Richard) Woolrich, Georgetown, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. T. Wayne Blackwood conducted the funeral service on Monday, March 2 at Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the Daffodil Place, St. John's. COLLINS, Mary Voilet - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital in Carbonear on Sunday, February 22, 2009. Mary Voilet Collins, age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Earnest Collins. Left with fond and loving memories her sisters: Ethel Healey, Spaniard's Bay and Gertie (Howard) Elliott, Tilton; sister-in-law: Ruby Gosse, Tilton; brothers: John Gosse, Tilton, Ralph (Sheila) Gosse, Spaniard's Bay, William (Mary) Gosse, Tilton and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Young's Funeral Home in Spaniard's Bay: The funeral service took place on Thursday, February 25, 2009 at All Saints Church followed with inurnment at All Saints Cemetery, Tilton. COOMBS, Emma Rita - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Emma R. Coombs of Spaniard's Bay, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: William; daughter-in-law: Marylyn; grandson: Dale; great-grandson: Jerome. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters: Philomena (Paul), Spaniard's Bay, Mary (Alex), Paradise; sons: Dale (Dale), Toronto, ON, Gerald, Toronto, ON, Tom (Cecilia), Toronto, ON; brother: Ned (Mane), Spaniard's Bay; sisters-in-law: Anna and Sadie; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Young's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. The funeral service took place on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Anne's Church, Spaniard's Bay with interment to follow at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay. DOYLE, Mary R. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, February 9, 2009, Mary R. Doyle of Gull Island, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Neil; parents: Patrick and Theresa Delaney; son: Brendan; sisters-in-law: Pauline and Hazel. Leaving to mourn: one daughter; Josephine (Lloyd) Lush, Yellowknife; five sons: Gerard (Mary), Edwin (Wanda) and David all of Gull Island, Danny (Donna), Brampton, ON, Luke (Valerie), Old Perlican; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers: Patrick Delaney, Michael Delaney, both of Gander, Dominic (Ann) Delaney, Mark (Agatha) Delaney, both of Gull Island; two sisters: Elizabeth (Frank) Power, Caplin Cove, Dorothy (Bill) Ellis, Indiana, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Fr. Michael Barker conducted the funeral Mass on Thursday, February 12 at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northem Bay. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mary R. GOSSE, Eugene - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on February 8, 2009, Eugene Gosse, aged 82 years. Predeceased by father: Mark; mother: Gladys; brother: Calvin (Shirley); sister: Hazel (J.J. Young); Infant son of Robin. Left with fond and loving memories wife Jean of 58 years; son: Robin (Joyce), Spaniard's Bay, Mark (Jennifer), Spaniard's Bay; daughter: Daphne (Bruce), Spaniard's Bay; 5 grandchildren: Carolyn (Bill Morgan), Lynn, Guy, Mark, Teri; 2 great-grandchildren: Rachel, William and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Young's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. The funeral service was held on February 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace followed with Interment at Spaniard's Bay United Church Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay. In his memory flowers or donations may be made to the Spaniard's Bay United Church Cemetery.
Mr. Gosse was a well-known and respected businessman in Newfoundland and Labrador for over 60 years. Mr. Gosse was also known as a true gentleman and patient man who was truly devoted to his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

GRENIER, Roger Allan - February 13, 1964 - February 13, 2009. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roger Allan Grenier announces his passing after a courageous battle with cancer at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the age of 45 years. He leaves to mourn with many precious memories his wife: Nellie (nee Langer); children: Sarah Lynn, Crystal and Jordan, Heart's Desire; parents: Nellie and John Grenier, Stephenville; brother: Paul (Carolyn), Stephenville; sister: Janet (Wayne) Lewis, Brampton, ON; parents-in-law: Ethel and Stephen Langer, Heart's Desire; brothers-in-law: Phil (Ellen), Bruce (Shelly) and Patrick (Sara), all of Listowel, ON; sisters-in- law: Bertha (Chris), Dildo, Rosie (Kelly Duffy), Listowel, ON and Stella, Dildo; as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends. Monsignor E. T. Bromley conducted the funeral Mass on Monday, February 16 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Heart's Desire. Left with fond and loving memories son: Allan (Jeanetta) Mercer, of St. Paul's; daughter: Eileen (Byron) Gushue, Spaniard's Bay; brother: Allan (Dolly) Yetman, England; sister-in-law: Bernice Yetman, Upper Island Cove; 3 grand-children: Jodie Whites (Charlie), Lisa (Justin) and Jonathan Gushue and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Young's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay; The funeral service took place on February 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Anglican Church with interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. MURPHY, Mary Ann (North) - June 7, 1927 - February 27, 2009. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, Mary Ann Murphy (North) of Bay de Verde in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husband, Aiden (1995); parents: Mary and Andrew North; brothers: Joseph (Genevieve) and Andrew (Alice); sister-in-law, Alice North; brother-in-law, Brendan Murphy. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: special nephew, Ronald (Hazel) North, grandson Damian (Amanda), great-grandchildren, Halley and Hiliary, grandson Derek (Shelly); son, Gerard (Geraldine) Murphy, grandson Michael (Amanda), granddaughter Kelly-Ann (Luke); son, Fabian (Paulette) Murphy; grandson Danny (April), granddaughters Ashley and Alison; daughter, Mary Lynne Murphy, grandsons Shamus and Liam Walsh; daughter, Madonna (Donald) King, grandson Patrick, granddaughter Mary Kate; brother, Thomas North; also a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Rested at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican. Funeral Mass took place on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Bay de Verde with Fr. SMITH, Keith - Passed tragically away at his late residence in Spaniard's Bay on February 22, 2009. Keith Smith of Spaniard's Bay, age 38. Predeceased by his mother Veronica and twin brother Kenneth. VOKEY, Norman R. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Norman R. Vokey of Spaniard's Bay, age 84 years. Predeceased by wife: Emmie; great-grandson: Seth Piercey; parents: John and Katie Vokey; daughter-in-law: Winnie Vokey. WAREHAM, Albert Eric - Passed peacefully away at his residence on Saturday, February 28, 2009, Albert Eric Wareham of Carbonear, age 64 years. Predeceased by parents: Chesley and Janie Wareham; brother: Jim (Lorraine) Wareham; brother-in-law: Donald Pike; niece: Brenda Lewis and father-in-law:Allan Murray; Left to mourn, wife: Phyllis; one daughter: Faye (Mike) Dessureault; two sons: Allan and Albert (Danielle); four grandchildren: Janaya, Michaela, Michael and Matthew; one brother: Lon (Lavinia); four sisters: Ada (Guy) Penney, Ruby Pike, Frances (Ken) Coombs and Inez (Jordan) Lewis; mother-in-law: Sophie Murray; sisters-in-law: Eileen (Winston) Legge, Pamela (Stewart) Taylor and Andrea Murray; brothers-in-law: Jack Murray, Lloyd Murray, Allan (Cheryl) Murray, Gordon (Marcia) Murray, Gregory (Merina) Murray, Derrick Murray and Peter Murray; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
