BLUNDON, Olga Gertrude
Passed in: Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: December 21st, 2017

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, December 21, 2017 Olga Gertrude Blundon of Bay de Verde age 94 years. Predeceased by husband Frank Blundon, sons Earl, Glenn, Daniel and Donald Blundon, parents Moses and Janet Blundon, sisters Annie Blundon, Violet Riggs, and Hazel Stockwood, and brother Jack Blundon. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, Carson (Annette) Blundon, Ray (Alma) Blundon, Frank Blundon, Evelyn (Rick) Riggs, Annie (Les) Bursey, daughter in laws Shirley Blundon and Nancy Blundon, brothers Donald Blundon, Eric (Vimy) Blundon, sister Florence Noble, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and a large circle of extended family and friends. Visitation was at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican, Friday December 22nd and Saturday December 23rd. Funeral service took place Saturday December 23rd from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. lnterment followed in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carbonear General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit or St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.

You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure."

HENNESSEY, Daisy
Passed in: Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: December 16th, 2017

Passed peacefully away at the Long Term Care Facility, Carbonear on Saturday, December 16, 2017, Daisy F. Hennessey of Harbour Grace, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Reuben and Frances Sheppard; sisters: Dorothy (Don) Parsons and Emma (Albert) Pynn; brother: Gordon Sheppard; brother-in-law: Raymond Ash. Left to mourn, husband: Harry; three daughters: Barbara (George), Carbonear, Brenda, Manuels, and Mary Ellen, Harbour Grace; mother-in-law: Agnes Hennessey, Harbour Grace; five grandchildren: Jonathan, Brandon, Erin, Kyle and Liam; one sister: Ethel Ash, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Barbara Sheppard, Ontario; sisters and brother-in-laws: Sheila, Paula, Carmel, Maggie, and Tom; special friend: Cavelle Moriarty, Harbour Grace; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, December 19 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Habour Grace. Interment was in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NL, 835 Topsail Road, Unit 107, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 3J6.
