- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, December 9, 2012, A. Marion Baggs of Adams Cove, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband Frederick; daughter Eileen; son-in-law Richard Hibbs and sister Leah. Left to mourn, three daughters: Florence (Don) King, Mount Pearl, Doreen (Grayson) Penney, Western Bay and Shirley (Leonard) Corrigan, Adams Cove; one son: Burton (Stella), Mount Pearl; eight grandchildren: Craig, Paula, Tracy, Sean, Curtis, Valerie, Lisa and Duane; nine great-grandchildren; one brother: Calvin (Sophie) White, Western Bay; three sisters: Elvira Glover, Western Bay, Ethel Baggs, Rexdale, ON and Hope Power, Kingston, ON; sisters-in-law: Pearl (Melvin) Finlayson, Glace Bay, NS and Lilly Hollett, Grand Beach; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the Funeral service on Wednesday, December 12 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment took place in the United Church Cemetery, Blackhead. Donations in her memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation. Passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, December 31, 2012, Wallace Raymond Butt of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 74 years. Wallace was the son of Cecil and Nellie V. Butt. Left to mourn, two sisters: Lorraine (Calvin deceased) Chaulk, St. John's and Yvonne (Charles) Pelley, Kingston, ON; three brothers: Harold (Nina), Grand Falls-Windsor, Douglas (Yvonne), Norman's Cove and Bruce, St. John's; nieces: Melanie (Ian) McLeod, Paradise, Michelle (Brian) Newby, Toronto, ON, Christina (Shawn) Osmond, Grand Falls-Windsor, Heather (Cory) Kelly, Victoria, Susan (Glenn) Randell, Saskatoon, SK, Jennifer Pelley (Neil Robitaille), Ottawa, ON and Karen (Leo) Grepin, Roxbury, CT; nephews: Bruce (Elaine) Chaulk and Stephen (Michelle) Butt, both of St. John's, David (Suzanne) Butt, Ottawa, ON and Andrew (Maya) Pelley, Toronto, ON; a number of grandnieces, grandnephews and also a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband: George; sisters: Lillian Elliott and Anna Cole; brothers: Jack and Ralph Pike. Left to mourn, one daughter: Dianne (Neil) Shea, Riverview, NB; two sons: Glen (Glenis), Carbonear and Eric (Judy), Gander; seven grandchildren: Jennifer (Dave), Steven (Sarah), Lisa (Glenn), Sara (Andre), Mark (Paula), Kim (Jason) and Anthony (Amy); nine great-grandchildren: Adam, Amanda, Shawn, Raymond, Thomas, Ben, Grace, Max and Melissa; one sister: Mary Mills, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
