Passed away peacefully at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Christmas morning after a period of gradually declining health, Marion Rixon, wife of the late Arthur Rixon (November 2004), of Lower Island Cove, age 86 years. Daughter of the late Ephraem and Josephine (Morris) Sparkes. Predeceased by all of her siblings: John, Elibe, Charlotte, Beatrice, Alice and Ella. Left to mourn, one daughter: Beatrix (Jean Belliveau), Stratford, P.E.I.; four sons: John (Sophie), Robert's Arm, Notre Dame Bay, Robert (Olive), Pouch Cove, David (Susan), Port-aux-Basques and Danny (Karen), Port-aux-Basques; fourteen grandchildren: Peter, Stephen, Colleen, Terry, Nicole, Mark, Karen, Nancy, Kim, Danny, Sara, Herbert, Danielle and Christopher.
