CLARKE, RAYMOND: Passed suddenly away at work on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, Raymond Clarke of Carbonear, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: Francis and Irene; brother: Bill. Left to mourn, one daughter: Melanie, Clarke's Beach; one son: Lee, Alberta; one granddaughter: Hannah; three brothers: Ralph, Carbonear, Wallace (Janice), Labrador City and Tom (Lois), Carbonear; four sisters: Peggy (Don) Sharpe, Ontario, Rose (Charles) Hefford, Conception Bay South, Rita (Don) Sellars, Whitbourne and Betty Clarke, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Mr. Clarence Cole conducted the funeral service on Saturday, August 13 the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. Donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Freshwater. KELLOWAY, CAROL ANNE -Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, Carol Anne Kelloway of Bareneed; formerly of Salmon Cove, age 57 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Julia Kelloway. Left to mourn, three daughters: Erin Efford (Mike Furlong), Fredericton, NB, Amber (Doug) Hodder, Middle Sackville, NS and Luanne Efford (Anthony Crocker), Paradise; one grandson: Liam; one brother: Arthur (Sherry) Kelloway, Victoria; five sisters: Joy (Fred) Rose, Salmon Cove, Doreen (John) Wiseman, Kelligrews, Lima Spurrell, St. John's, Gail (Gary) Rogers, Harbour Grace and Elizabeth (Terry) Vaters, Lawrencetown, NS; companion: Lloyd Murray, Holyrood; also a number of nieces, nephews; members of the Efford Family, other extended family and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. T. Wayne Blackwood and Rev Dr. Wayne Cole conducted the funeral service on Monday, Aug. 15 at Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment took place in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, 420 East St. North, Sarnia, ON, N7T 6Y5. PRICE, CLARENCE RAYMOND: 1943-2011 - It is with sorrow that the family announces his passing on Monday, August 8, 2011 at the Carbonear General Hospital. Son of Gilbert and Alma Price (both predeceased) of Hants Harbour, Trinity Bay, NL. Clarence was loved by three sisters Effie of Hants Harbour, NL (predeceased), Doris of Victoria, NL and Margaret of Paradise, NL. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Louise, with whom he shared a passion for family, travelling and the great outdoors. He also leaves behind his beloved children, Traci (Kyle Lennie) of Fredericton, NB and Trudy (Shawn Ramstead) and grandsons Devin and Drake of Stockton, California. He will be sadly missed by many special nephews, nieces and relatives, as well as many close, life-time friends.Throughout his career, he worked for several companies, most notably, Gordon Butler Limited (St. John's) for 32 years and then Nabisco Canada until he retired in 2004. Throughout his life, Clarence held a passion for people, current events and the betterment of his community. He devoted many charitable hours to the Minor Hockey Association (as a coach), the Carbonear Recreation Commission and the Carbonear Lions Club. He also will be remembered for his great love of animals and as an avid outdoor sportsman. Clarence's well lived life was remembered at his visitation from Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Shirley Noseworthy conducted the funeral Service to celebrate his life on Friday from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment took place in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lion Max Simms Memorial Camp. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. SPURRELL, ALLAN "KENT": Passed away August 11, 2011 at the Carbonear Hospital, Allan "Kent" Spurrell. Born March 6, 1963. Leaving to mourn with happy memories and heavy hearts, his parents Rollie and Peggy of Carbonear, Daughter Holly and her mother Bonnie Spurrell, Sister Laura Downey (children Jessica and Adam (wife Krista) and beautiful niece Rachel Ella), Brother Jeff (Claudette) and niece Jodie and Nephew Evan. Aunt Frances Chaytor (nee White) Aunt Audrey Spurrell (nee Dawe), Aunt Olive Hillerich (nee Spurrell) and extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Anyone wishing to honour his life may donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Atlantic Division on his behalf.
