Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, Mrs. Ann V. Badcock of Bay Roberts, aged 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Amos and Lillian Penney (Martin); brother: Amos Penney. Leaving to mourn husband William Badcock, sons Rodney Badcock, Kenneth (Dawn) Badcock, daughters Laurie (Philip) Sharpe, Joanne Badcock, sisters Margaret (Tobias) White, Gloria (Brian) Snow, Virginia (Hank) Allen, brothers Clifford (Erma) Penney, Gary (Linda) Penney, Derrick (Sadie) Penney, Wayne (Catherine) Penney, Terry (Bonnie) Penney, Ricky (Joy) Penney, sister-in-law Eileen Penney, grandchildren Melissa, Melanie, Jordan, Courtney and Holly, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rev'd Amanda Taylor conducted the funeral service at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Bay Roberts on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Interment was at St . Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Pallbearers were Phil Sharpe, Gerald Badcock, Ricky Penney, Darrell Penney, Trevor Penney, Todd White, Elvis White, and Mateo Brewer.

Predeceased by parents: Herbert and Elsie Burden; brothers: Ephriam, Lloyd and Reginald; sisters: Clarice and Hilda; grandson: Joshua Marsh. Left to mourn, wife: May; three daughters: Goldie (Neil) Marsh, Bay Roberts, Dawn (Brian) Johnson, Alberta and Sandi (Julie), Pouch Cove; three grandchildren: Rick (Jennine), Chad (Jennifer) and Julia; step-grandson: Tyler; two great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Nathaniel; two brothers: Jim (Rosemary) and Les (Helen), both of Carbonear; two sisters: Vera Purcell, Nova Scotia and Dot Hawe, Carbonear; sisters and brothers-in-law: Janie Peach, Massachusetts, USA, Rev Bill (Florence) Reynolds, Harbour Grace, Rev. COLE, Harriet "Linda" (Noel)

The family of Linda Cole of Victoria are saddened to announce the passing of our mother. She was the last living child of John C. (1976) and Katie (Yetman - 1940) Noel of Harbour Grace. Predeceased by her life time love, husband Arthur Cole (1959) at USAF Base, Goose Bay; brothers Ronald in childhood, William "Bill" Noel and wife Mary (Payne); sister Gladys and husband Gerald Pike; stepmother Hilda (Welsh). Left to give thanks for our mother's love and dedication are her children: Ronald and wife Bonnie, their children Laura, Linda and Sarah; Frederick and wife Wanda, their children Stephen and Paula; Diana and husband Lloyd Hobbs, their child Rebecca; Edward and his children Joanna and Christian: and her great grandchildren, who were her pride, Sarah, Nathan, Beatrix, Elias, and Dory. Survived by her in-laws Elizabeth "Betty" Cole and husband Alexander "Sandy" Carter, Sue (Belbin) Cole and Christine (Penney) Cole; special niece Joan Noel, as well as other nieces and nephews and extended family members. Rev. Dr. Hugh Fudge conducted the funeral service on Saturday, April 7 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation followed. Inurnment took place on Monday, April 9 at Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
