CASE, Sarah W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, April 28, 2005, Sarah W. Case of Salmon Cove, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband Aubrey W.; son Arthur; daughter Irene; son-in-law Lloyd; sisters: Ethel and Maisie and brothers: George, Arthur, Leonard and John William. Left to mourn, two daughters: Elinor and (Reginald) Moores and Edna (Bob) Moore, both of Carbonear; one son Lome (Peggy), Salmon Cove; seven grand-children: Glenn Walsh, Jason (Leane) Moores, Sheryl Moores (Troy), Todd Moore (Cathy), Dean Moore (Lynne), Vicki Case and Lorna Case; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. T. Wayne Blackwood conducted the funeral service on Sunday, May 1 at Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. CROCKER, Charles J. - Of Heart's Delight passed away April 6, 2005. He was 96 years. Charlie is survived by his wife, Marjorie, and by four children: Robert (Janet), Eric (Claudia), Ron (Sheila) and Maxine Reccord. He also is survived by eight grandchildren: Dawn, Denise, David, Diane (Chris Penney), Susan, Mark, Christa and Robin, and two great-grandchildren: David and Chelsea. Charlie was predeceased by first wife Mina, in 1953 and son-in-law Ross Reccord in 1999, sister Jessie Pittman in 1951, brother Harold Crocker in 1974. The funeral was held at the United Church, Heart's Delight, Sunday, April 10. Charlie Crocker was a carpenter and boat-builder.and an active and respected member of his community. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Slade's Funeral Home, Carbonear.

DOOLEY, James P. "Jim" - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 8, 2005, James P. "Jim" Dooley of Victoria, age 64 years. Predeceased by parents Florence and James Dooley; parents-in-law: Mildred and James Sutton; sister Maureen. SLADE, Richard P. – Of Carbonear, NL. (Husband of the late Mrs. Anastasia C. Slade) passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 15, 2005. Mr. Slade was 83 years old. He was predeceased by his wife Anastasia Slade; grandson Robbie Antle; daughter-in-law Maxine Slade; parents: Alex and Anna Slade; brothers: Ned (Margaret), Mike, John, Alex and Maurice Slade; sisters: Alice Ballard, Nell Manning and Bridget Martin.
