Leaving to mourn her loving family: son, Lewis (Colleen) at Tors Cove, NL; daughters, Mary (Gordon Vallis) at Harbour Breton and Maude Skinner at Burin; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Sadie Harris at Grand Bank; daughter in law, Ada Buffett, at Grand Falls-Windsor; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Samuel, on September 5, 1990; son, Roy, in June, 2004; son in law, Samuel Skinner, in June, 2003; great grandson in October, 2010; parents, Andrew and Rosanna Rose, formerly of Great Harbour. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbor Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery at Harbour Breton. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late George (Junior) Hoskins announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls - Windsor, NL on Friday September 2, 2011 at the age of 69. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers: Levi (Elizabeth), Arthur (Maureen), Willie (Margaret) & Jonas, all of St. Alban's, NL; sisters: Mary (Murray Kearley), Bishops Falls, NL, Lila (John Ross), Anne Hoskins both of Brampton, ON as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: George & Irene Hoskins; sister: Dolores Poullette. The funeral service was held on Monday September 5, 2011 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's.
