Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at the age of 81 years. Lovingly missed by wife Helen (nee Stanford); four sons Carl (Leduc, AB) , David (Harbour Main, NL), George (Beaumont, AB), Michael (Edmonton, AB); three daughters Beverley Moore (Dar tmouth, NS) , Wendy Munroe (Virden,MB), Sherry Smolders (Surrey, BC) and their spouses; his 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother Alex and sister Mabel Benoit (both of North Sydney). Predeceased by infant daughter Linda; parents George and Sarah Bugler (nee Moore) and sister Charlotte (Lottie) Vallis. Clayton and Helen weremarried April 30, 1949 and a joyous family reunion was held on their 60th Wedding Anniversary. His energy was always focused on his family. He genuinely cared about his friends and their families. Clayton was born in Harbour Breton and moved to St. John's as a boy. As a young man Clayton worked on Bell Island and has kept in touch with many friends he made at that time. Later, he worked at George G.R. Parsons for many years and added to his circle of friends. Clayton was proud that the family name dates back to 1697 in Newfoundland. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private celebration of Clayton's life will be held by his family. Passed suddenly away as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Pool's Cove on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, Mr. Donald Theodore Evans, age 53 years of St. Jacques. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Susan; parents, Roland and Catherine Evans at St. Jacques; three brothers, Gary (Maureen) at Pennfield, NB, Freeman (Barbara) at Halifax, NS, and Roland (Mary) at Liverpool, NS; two sisters, Alfreda Lawrence (Herman) at Trenton, ON, and Karen Croft (Jerry) at Mill Village, NS, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his only son, Shane, in 2009. Funeral service was held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 2:00 pm from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. Jacques with Rev. Passed peacefully away at Buchans on Monday, October 11, 2010, Mary Ann Poole, age 87 years of Belleoram. Leaving to mourn her loving family: sister in law, Beatrice Poole; her family in Belleoram; other relatives and friends; her many friends and staff at KM Homes in St. Albans where she resided for awhile; staff and friends at A. M. Guy Memorial Hospital in Buchans. Predeceased by her parents, Emily Ellen Poole and Johnny Sam Poole; brothers, Philip, Pius (Sr.), Clyde, Clayton and Samuel; sister, Ethel; niece, Ida Poole. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14, from St. Lawrence Anglican Church in Belleoram at 11:00 am with Rev. Peter Windover officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Belleoram. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Leaving to mourn her loving family: five sons, Howard (Diane) at PEI, Jonathan (Olive) at Hermitage, Nathan (Loretta) at English Harbour West, Derek (Claire) at Nova Scotia and Jeffery at Coomb's Cove; two daughters, Mary Ann Whitstone (John) at St. John's Bay and Pheobe Skinner (Ernie) at Harbour Breton; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brother, Jonathan Snook at Wreck Cove plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Isaac; sons, Ronald and Newman; parents, Pheobe and Arthur Snook. Funeral service was held on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at 11:00 am from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Boxey with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating and Rev. Mildred Tobin. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pauline Snook announce her passing at the Bay d'Espoir Medical Centre, St. Alban's, NL on Saturday October 2, 2010 at the age of 91. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her special nieces & nephews: Raymond Snook (Julie Ann), Joan Hanson (Matt Bennett), Elizabeth Snook, all of St. Alban's, NL, Mary ( Bob Wheeler), Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Madonna (Gerard Brophy), St. John's, NL, Richard Snook (Louise), Chelmsford, ON, Rosanne (Rene Hoskins), St. Alban's, NL, Mena Snook, Conne River, NL, Carolyn (Victor Collier), St. Alban's, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Samuel & Elizabeth Snook; sisters: Ethel, Estelle, Sara J. & Marie Loretta (Infant); sister in law: Irene Snook. The funeral service was held on Tuesday October 5, 2010 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Alberto Adaza officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

Predeceased by his wife, Charlotte; parents, Vincent and Emily Snook and sister in law, Violet Snook. Funeral service was held on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 2:00 pm from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Harbour Breton with Father Tom officiating.
