Passed suddenly away as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Monday, November 19, 2012, Mrs. Mary Agnes Buffett, age 56 years, of Milltown. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, Maxwell; daughter, Teela, at Calgary, AB; son, Regai, daughter in law, Cheryl, and grandson, Max, at Ajax, ON; sister, Lisa, and brother in law, Terry, at Milltown; brothers, Bernard and sister in law, Elizabeth, at Milltown, Everest and sister in law, Elizabeth, at St. Alban's, Joe and sister in law, Sharron, at Winnipeg, Man; sister in law, Georgina, at St. Alban's; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother, Louis, in 2007, her mother, Lillian, in 1997, and her father, Gerald, in 2004. Remains rested at Spencer's Funeral Home in St. Alban's. Funeral service was held from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in St. Alban's on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 am with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Friday, November 23, 2012, Mrs. Emily Mary Crant, age 88 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughters, Donna (husband, David Pierce) and Sharon (husband, Reginald Strickland) all at Harbour Breton; sons, Marvin (wife, Jessie) at Harbour Breton, David (wife, Nina) at McCallum and Terry (wife, Tracey) at Harbour Breton; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; special niece, Margaret Tibbo at Harbour Breton; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Alexander, sister, Mabel Taylor, and brother, Eric White. Funeral service was held from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbour Breton at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 26, 2012 with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Harbour Breton. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his family, at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, Mr. John Robert Mullins, age 73 years of Rencontre East. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Sadie; sons, Paul Mullins (Della) at Angus, ON, Brian Mullins (Sherida) at Paradise, NL, Glen Mullins at Kippens, NL; daughter, Vanessa Mullins (Craig Stoodley) at Harbour Breton; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; special niece, Beatrice Hardy (Everett Hardy) at Rencontre East; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Archibald and Helen Mullins, and children, Roger and Gail. Funeral service was from St. Stephen's Anglican Church in Rencontre East at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 24, 2012 with Rev. Mildred Tobin officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Rencontre East. Special thank you to the hospital staff who gave exceptional care during his stay and special thanks to Dr. Hoca and Rev. Juanita for their genuine concern and compassion. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home in St. John's on Friday, November 30, 2012, Mrs. Mary Hannah Piercey, age 87 years, formerly of Pass Island. Leaving to mourn her loving family: children, Myrtle Langdon (John) at Foxtrap, Gladys Langdon (Clayton) at Seal Cove, F. Bay, Eldred (Judy) and Roland (Linda) at Hermitage, Bernice Loveless (Claude) at Trenton, NS, and Terry (Darlene) at Petty Harbour; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Lilly Rose, and brother, Eldred Crant (Hazel) all at Corner Brook plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Piercey and other family members. Funeral service was held on Monday, December 3, 2012, at 11:00 am from St. Saviour's Anglican Church in Hermitage with Rev. Gerald Colbourne officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Hermitage-Sandyville. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughters, Joy (Junior) at Burin, and Susan (Craig) at Belleoram; sons, Philip (Lillian), David (Evelyn), and Jeff, all at Belleoram; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brothers, Freeman and Leo Poole; sisters, Rose and Marion; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Philip Martin Poole, Sr. and other relatives. Funeral service was held from St. Lawrence Anglican Church in Belleoram at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 with Pastor Penney officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Belleoram. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Doreen (Doug Jackman), Grand Bank, NL, Ross (Joan), Milltown, NL, Sharon Young, CBS, NL, Jim (Marian), St. Alban's, NL, Rosemary (Conrad Mullins), Pasadena, NL, Phyllis (Dave Evely), Clarenville, NL, Debbie (Gerard Haas), Ontario, Grace, (Larry Dumeresque), Lance Au Clair, NL, Dora (|Cec Organ), St. John's, NL, Louise (John Gushue), Bacon Cove, NL; 21grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers: Jim Kendall, St. Alabn's, NL, Ronald Kendall (Joan), Morrisville, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Reginald; son: Reginald Jr; sister: Carrie; brothers: Gordon, Harold, Edgar & Allan. The funeral service was held on Friday November 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Reverend Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Ida; sons, William (Marilyn) at Mount Pearl, David (Glenda), Dwayne (Brenda) and Dale (Linda) all at Pool's Cove; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Henrietta Douglas at North Sydney and Helen Noel at St. Anthony; brother, Frank (Grace) at Pool's Cove; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, Gordon and Florence Williams, brother, Vincent, and sister, Ethel. Funeral service was held from MacDermott Memorial United Church in Pool's Cove on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Eric Hillier officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Pool's Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
