Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, Mr. Maxwell Charles Forsey, age 78 years of Seal Cove. Leaving to mourn his loving family: two sons, Dennis (Amanda) at Seal Cove, and Gary (Darlene) at Harbour Breton; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, John (Edith) at Seal Cove; two sisters, Beulah Bungay (Archie) at Seal Cove and Gertie Bungay (Fenny) at Grand Bank, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Lucy, in 1977; son, Carl; his parents, John and Elsie Forsey; and other relatives. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22 , at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Seal Cove with Captains Edward and Rose Canning officiating. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery at Seal Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

HAYWARD, Alexander

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Monday, May 10, 2010, Mr. Alexander Hayward, age 87 years, of Pool's Cove. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Hilda; one son, Randy (Michelle) and daughter, Lori Hayward, at Brampton, ON; stepdaughter, Brenda (Dwayne Williams) at Pool's Cove; two grandchildren, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by brothers, Albert and Merrill Hayward, and sister, Marjorie McDonald; parents, Albert and Shirley Hayward. Funeral service will be held from the McDermott Memorial United Church in Pool's Cove at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, with the United Church Minister and Pentecostal Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery in Pool's Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

LOVELESS, Clary Eric

Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, May 14, 2010, Mr. Clary Eric Loveless, age 53 years of Cottrell's Cove, formerly of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Doris; two sons, Dale at St. John's and Trent at Cottrell's Cove; parents, Clayton and Hilda Loveless at Seal Cove; four brothers, Dave (Emily) at Seal Cove, Derek at Grand Falls-Windsor, Conrad (Emily) at St. George, NB, and Felix (Tracy) at Paradise; one sister, Daisy (Reginald Prior) at Grand Bank; mother in law, Mrs. Ada Wells at Sandyville; sister in law, Jane (Harold) at Fortune; brother in law, Hubert (Julie) at Brampton, ON, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on Monday, May 17 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Seal Cove, Fortune Bay, with Captains Edward and Rose Canning officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Seal Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

SNOOK, Ellen
Date of Birth: September 18, 1936
Date of Death: May 19, 2010
Age: 73
Location Harbour Breton, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, Mrs. Ellen Snook, age 73 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, Leonard; four daughters, Gloria (Wayne), Diane (Gerard), Marilyn (Joey), all at Harbour Breton, and Sherry (Wade) at St. John's; one son, Rodney (Pauline) at Harbour Breton; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; five sisters, Rosetta (Eldred) at Caplin Cove, TB, Linda Marshall at Pool's Cove, Lillian (Randell) at Harbour Breton, Sophie (Lloyd) and Marie (Basil) at Pool's Cove; one brother, Phillip (Megan) at Ontario, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, Lillian and Phillip May; brother, John May. Funeral service was held on Friday, May 21 at 11:00 am from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Harbour Breton with Father Tom officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Harbour Breton. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
