Passed suddenly away at his residence in Gaultois on Monday, March 5, 2012, Mr. Charles Robert Howse, age 69 years. Leaving to mourn his loving family: daughters, Edwina at Gaultois and Shirley (Hartley Taylor) at Rose Blanche; sons, Jamie (Frances) at Gaultois and Billy (Chrissie) at Mount Pearl; grandchildren, Megan Skinner, Michael Taylor and Kera Howse; brother, John Howse (Joanne) at Grand Bank; sisters, Jessie at Grand Bank, Gladys Warren (James) at Cape Ray and Carson Howse (Leonard) at Toronto; plus a circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Katherine; sons, Dennis and David; sisters, Agnes White and Mary Keeping.Funeral service was held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Luke's Anglican Church in Gaultois with Rt. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sheldon Joe of Conne River, NL, announce his passing at is residence in Conne River, NL on Saturday March 3, 2012 at the age of 43. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents: Lawrence & ethel Joe, Conne River, NL; brothers: Alan (Linda), Winnipeg, MB, Gary (Jackie), Conne River, NL, Dave (Lisa Tobin), Conne River, NL, Larry (Jessica Stride), Winnipeg, MB, Barry (Olivia), Conne River, NL; sisters: Maxine (Terry Critch), Joan Joe (Jimmy), Elizabeth Lyder & Wanda Joe, all og Winnipeg, MB as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother: Preston; sisters: Harriett Joe & Millie Joe; special uncle: Matthew; grandmother: Amelia Joe. The funeral service was held on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 11 am at St. Anne's R. C. Church, Conne River with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conne River. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert King of Milltown, NL announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the age of 80. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Marjorie; children: Gerald (Bonnie), Milltown, NL, Beverly (Melvin Snook), St. Alban's, NL; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister: Frances (Lloyd Kendall), Morrisville, NL; sister in law: Ethel King, Botwood, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Thomas William & Mary; brother John King. The funeral service was held on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Reverend Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brother: Gilbert King, Head of Bay d'Espoir; sister: Charlotte Kearley, Head of Bay d'Espoir, NL; sister in law: Doris King, Head of Bay d'Espoir, NL as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Bert & Beatrice King; brothers: Matthew, Clayton & Bert; sister: Margaret King; brother in law: Ronald Kearley. The funeral service was held on Friday March 9, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's on Thursday, March 22, 2012, Mrs. Rita Mary Snook, age 66 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: children, Johnnie, at Grand Falls-Windsor, Mary (Joseph Savoury) and Amanda (Allan Poole) at Whitecourt, AB, Shirley Roberts at Hermitage, Basil (Lisa) at Harbour Breton, Jeremy (Victoria) at CBS, and Ryan at Barrie, ON; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, George Skinner (Kathleen) at Harbour Breton, Basil at High Level, AB, and Rodney (Edith) at Harbour Breton; sister, Carrie Snook (Michael) at Harbour Breton; plus many close friends, and other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, John, on March 11, 2007; brothers, Ronald and John Edward; sister, Frances Stoodley; parents, Mary and William Skinner. Funeral service was held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating.
