Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, Dan; daughter, Whitney (Wade); sons, Joey (Kimberly) and Eric (Chelsea); stepson, Danny Spencer, all at Harbour Breton; two loving grandchildren, Mason and Robert; special niece, Averee Pierce; sisters, Erika Stewart (Paul), Deanna Fudge (Brian), Shannon Stone (Palmer), Natasha Snook (Peter), Terri Pierce (Roderick) and Alice (Roger King); parents, Eric and Bessie Lace; sisters in law, Barbara at Nova Scotia, Elizabeth (Ambrose) at Harbour Breton, Mary (Joseph) at Terrenceville, Barbara (Gerald), Claudia (Jim) at Harbour Breton; brothers in law, Lenus (Patricia), Edward (Doris), Silas (Wanda), Joe (Judy) all at Harbor Breton, Norman at Nova Scotia, John, Vincent (Jr.), James Will also at Harbour Breton, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents in law, Vincent and Julia Baker; grandparents, George and Mahala Lace, James and Melita Skinner, Joseph Skinner, Chesley Bishop; Uncles John Lace and Charles Savoury; Aunt Maggie Baker; brother in law, Peter; sister in law, Jane Snook (Stewart). Funeral service was held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frances Collier announce her passing at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL on Thursday March 24, 2011 at the age of 83. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sisters: Esmerelda Collier (Abraham) & Margaret Dollimont (George) all of St. Joseph's Cove, NL; brother: Edmund Sutton (Shirley), St. Alban's, NL; sister in law: Loretta Sutton, St. Alban's, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Reginald; infant son: Robert; parents: Jeremiah & Amelia Sutton; sister: Evelyn Organ; brother: Pius Sutton. The funeral service was held on Monday March 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Alberto Adaza officiating. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Alfred; children: Margaret Drew (Dominic), Stephenville, NL, Alfred (Effie), Kevin (Eleanor), Elizabeth Willcott (Jospeh), Mildred Blake(William), Philomena Willcott (George), all of St. Alban's, NL, Michael, Labrador City, NL, Anne Marie MacIsaac (John), Hubley, NS, Christine Walsh (Paul), Brampton, ON, Murray (Kathy), Paradise, NL; 21 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters: Elizabeth McDonald, Margaret Organ; as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: John & Margaret Kearley; son: Adonis; brother: Anthony Kearley; sisters: Evangeline & Sarah. Passed peacefully away, with her family by her side, at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, Mrs. Florence (Flossie) Gaulton, age 82 years, of Hermitage. Predeceased by her husband, Eli, in 1998; parents, James and Elizabeth Rose; five brothers and three sisters. Left with many loving memories are: two daughters, Ann O'Brien (James) and Evelyn Crewe (Melvin) all at Gander; three grandchildren, Stephen Crewe (Cathy) at Hermitage, Pat O'Brien (Krista) at Gander and Stephanie Loveless (Joey) at Grand Falls-Windsor; one great grand-daughter, Brooklyn O'Brien; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts at Halifax, NS, plus a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Also, left to mourn are her many special care givers at the Nightingale Manor in Gander and the Dialysis Unit at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander; their kindness will never be forgotten. Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 1:00 pm from the St. Saviour's Anglican Church in Hermitage with Rev. Charles Harris officiating.
